I have a small finger and this slide won't go past the bottom knuckle. Be advised this slide is slimmer and shorter than the regular slide. I do like the slide after getting used to it and you can bend your pinky with the slide on. It is lighter and quicker and sounds good.

Barely Fits

This slide barely fits my pinky - I have slender long fingers- I will stick to the larger slides.

Comments about Ernie Ball Pinky Slider:

I'm not really a pinky slide person, but I have a bunch of different slides and had to add this one the arsenal. It fits pretty tight (doesn't drop over my middle knuckle) and is about the same quality as the dunlops; maybe a little less heavy in the plating.

It's great for live use because it's versatile and stays on well, doesn't break, and can still get a pretty good tone on a low-actioned guitar. It's not going to make you sound Elmore James, but you can really get the Johnny Winter/Duane Allman things going while still being able to use the other fingers. I would recommend this for someone who plays slide in standard tuning live or doesn't have a guitar dedicated to slide in their rig that maybe needs this for one/two songs. Also works well on acoustic with low action and light strings.

Comments about Ernie Ball Pinky Slider:

Bought the pinky at the recommendation of my son, who plays awesome slide on straight or D tuning. It is small and light enough to control, but has enough metal to have good sustain and tone. Mine fits snug and goes to the second knuckle on my pinky. The snug fit on pinky is a large advantage over big, heavy, loose slides, that are hard to control. Recommended for pinky sliders!

should get lots of use from this handy little tool.
        light weight and smoothe finish.
Gives bright twang with resonator guitar.
        worth what you pay.

Comments about Ernie Ball Pinky Slider:

Awhile back I picked up a Jeff Beck Strat and decided to stay with the lighter strings (.009 instead of .10 or .11 that I use on my older blocked/hardtail Strat). I needed a lighter slide but all the other "pinky slides" I tried, glass or metal, were too light. But this one was just right; enough weight to sustain, but small enough to fit snugly on the end of my pinky for better control. If you're a pinky slider give it a shot.

Comments about Ernie Ball Pinky Slider:

I've used these for years. I've always used standard guitar tuning and using this slide enables me to switch back and forth quickly. I can play slide and still have my other 3 fingers for chords. Why? ...because it's how I learned to do it and the pinky slide was the best way to go for the way I play. Most of my life I've only had one guitar and since one song may need slide and the next one doesn't, this was the way go for me.
