I installed these pots on a custom "Strat" that is one of my favorite guitars and the results were magical! I used the 500K pots and the silky smooth response has changed the way I use this guitar! I highly recommend these as a small investment that will improve your tone dramatically.

Read my first comments.....if you need a new pot,and a short shaft will work for you,snag this one quickly!
First off...anything Ed puts his name on,I know it's gonna stand the test of time.I needed a new pot,and wanted this model for sure.I was a little bummed when I got it,as it was a short shaft,NOT a long.I don't see a option for that,so BE AWARE!!I was lucky to JUST have enough threads to mount it anyway.With that being said,the volume comes on very quick as you turn it.The feel is excellent,and volume swells,ala'"Cathedral"...are a breeze!Now when you open up your control cavity cover and see the EVH logo,you'll know you made the right choice

These pots are as good as advertised. I had many different pots on a multimeter and these were right on the money!That is not common at all! Really solid and smooth turning. No extra noise anywhere in the travel or when on or off. They make volume swells more expressive. Made my guitar feel real high class.

I just got these things in a day or two ago and they feel so free!! They turn without much effort and they are not like loose as in crap, wore out feel but a loose that is ment to be kinda feel! if that makes any sense! sorry i dont have tech specs yet, I have yet to install them! Just have to put out a slight warning: the pot shaft isnt knurled like I was thinking it would be! So if anyone knows where to find the MXR style knobs made for a smooth shaft, then please let me know!!
