I really love this bridge cover. I dig Motown and Old school finger style funk, so getting that thud with the foam under the bridge cover is awesome. It works great for flats or rounds and experimenting with different damping material is easy. Much easier than installing the individual string mutes, which you could do and still install the cover. Only drawback, the cover doesnt come with mounting screws or foam and removing the cover to change strings or adjust saddles is a pain, but running flats you don't change often. All in all, I love my bridge and pickup cover on my Jazz and it would look strange to me not to have it on.

Once I received the new chrome accent for my Fender 5-Strind MIM Jazz Bass, I was disappointed that it would not fit my new, recently purchased guitar. Since the 5-string bridge is wider than a 4-string, the rear of the cover hung over the end of the guitar in which would have caused interference with the guitar strap if mounted. Unfortunately I will need to return it for a credit.

Of course this cover makes your bass look cool but be aware that it does not come with screws or a locating template. So you have to eyeball it into position. Be careful when eyeballing the position because the back sides of the screw holes have sharp burrs that will scratch the paint/finish of your beloved bass. Not good, OUCH!

I installed the J-Bass Bridge Cover and a pickup cover to an old Fender Mustang Bass. Now it looks like a the only Jazz Bass with a 30" scale.I love the old vintage Fender basses with the chrome accessories. I don't know why so many bassplayers removed the chrome covers from the bridge and pickups. The brassy vintage looks sure beats the stripped down look. If you want to add flash, some retro style and graet looks to your axe, the bridge and pickup covers are worth the price and is the cheaper alternative to digging deep into your pockets for a Fender Road Worn or New Old Stock line.

This is a very good product. It makes your bass look good and believe it or not it keeps a lot of the dust away from your pickups. I have the bridge cover and the pickup cover. My Jazz Bass looks good and sounds good too!

It's funny how a little piece of metal can instantly make a bass look like it's worth a few hundred bucks more than it is! I liked mine so much that I also got a guy to make me one for my hardtail Strat... and it looks awesome too!

This bridge cover makes your jazz bass look old school and makes it look worth a million bucks. Give your jazz bass the style it deserves.

Though this cover makes your bass look cool, it doesn't really help that much, it really hurts your range for playing harmonics around the bridge. It really changes the feel of your bass, especially for slapping and popping. If you just want to make your bass look cool, and don't do a lot of technical stuff, I guess this is for you.

The Bridge Cover for your bass makes your bass look excellent and it gives it that VINTAGE LOOK we Vintage Bass Lovers like, although I was a little dissapointed when it didn't come with the screws but it does not change the fact that t his is a great product.
