Purchased this to carry a pair of speaker stands. It's about 6 inches longer than my other stand bags. I don't really need the extra length but may come in handy for something at some point. I like the separate compartments. Didn't come with a shoulder strap,but I don't utlilize one anyway.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
