I bought this amp case for a recent outdoor gig last week and let me tell you this amp case is great. I used it to transport my Marshall AS50D Acoustic amp and still had plenty of padded room for my harmonicas, mic cables and a 100ft extension cord and my guitar stand. All fit comfy and secure. It was easy to move around and the side handles are pretty strong when carrying up and down stairs. The amp was placed on the top panel and stayed there throughout the gig. I have to say that I was pretty surprised how sturdy this case is and how it doubles as a stand. Well worth the money! The only thing that I would like to see is maybe some casters on the bottom so it can be rolled sideways when needed. Otherwise I love it. The outside pocket is roomy as well all that held that day was sheet music.Good product, quality and fits my needs!

Like others, I had a problem with the wheels. The first time I used it, I was rolling the case along the sidewalk and one of the wheels came loose. I'll follow suit and replace with heavy duty casters. It might be nicer if the handle were on the side, or the casters swiveled. Rolling thru a narrow doorway ain't gonna happen. You have to pick it up and carry it thru. Other than that, it's a good case, fits my amp perfectly, with room for my digital multi-effects pedal as well. Roomy front pocket for cables, etc. I sit the amp on top during gigs, and I really like having it up higher. Bottom line, except for the wheels, it's a good deal.
First time I used it, one of the wheels broke off.

Comments about Gator G-112A Rolling Amp Transporter and Stand:

This would have been a good investment if I wasn't into compact. It was a little to big for me and my amp and the hand release would release at the most unopertune times. I liked it and the way it raised my amp to a nice level, but again, to big for me.

Comments about Gator G-112A Rolling Amp Transporter and Stand:

Buy something better, this thing is not that great
Im a part time gigging musician & the one thing I hate about this is the wheels always somehow lock on there own..Im tired of reaching below to unlock them...the bar on the wheels are too long & always touch the ground wich causes this
another thing is the corners of this thing are very big to support the wheels wich makes this take up alot of space if you have a small car.

Good for local gigs

By Page-kFbWZ

Comments about Gator G-112A Rolling Amp Transporter and Stand:

This case is fine for local gigs, but if I were still on the road it would not last. The major problem is the wheel design. They should have put a rotating caster on each corner. I removed the stock wheels and put 4 heavy duty casters on each corner. The handle is a joke too. It does protect the amp.

Good case, but...

By Jazz4U-LAl8n

Comments about Gator G-112A Rolling Amp Transporter and Stand:

I bought this case in Fall 08 and use it every week to haul my new Vox amp. The first thing I noticed was that the extendable aluminum handle used to tilt it back and roll it around is very lightweight for the size and capacity of this case. In fact, after using the case several times a week for 6 months, and attempting to be careful with it, the handle broke off in my hand. I wrote to the company and they sent me a new handle, kudos to Gator for great customer support. It's not an SKB or Anvil case but works for local gigs.

Great alternative to a dolly!

Comments about Gator G-112A Rolling Amp Transporter and Stand:

I got this case for my tech 21 combo. I was a little bummed by how big it was when it arrived but it turns out I can fit my amp and my small pedal board inside, all my cables go in the pocket and I don;t have to lug my amp stand anymore. so when I show up for a gig all I carry is this and my guitar. My only gripe is the wheels - I wish there were 4 instead of 2. If you have to go through a tight space you have to pick the whole thing up which is a drag. . . literally. The screws on the whole unit were a little loose but nothing a screwdriver couldn;t handle... over all I'm very happy w/ this. would def get another one if something happened to it.

if it lasts, it'll be GREAT!

Comments about Gator G-112A Rolling Amp Transporter and Stand:

This is the PERFECT case for me. I can fit my combo, pedalboard, gtr stand, and cables into it. Plus I don;t have to bring an amp stand anymore. It's BIG, but having everything in one package is very convenient (It's just this case and my guitar)! It feels a little fragile. I had to tighten all the screw when I got it and the dolly handle feels like it'll snap any minute. . . if it lasts, this will be a great way to travel!

The Gator G-112A Rolling Amp Transporter and Stand will make it more fun to go out an play. This seems to be well built and very sturdy. Also nicely padded. No more luggin gear. Also good heavy duty rollers make moving amps a lot easier. Well worth the price.

1x12 Amp Transporter- Good Buy

By Unique-aCbMj

from Salisbury, Md

Comments about Gator G-112A Rolling Amp Transporter and Stand:

I just received mine and after looking it over it is rather unique & should fit the bill rather well as opposed to a ata case which I'm sure would be extremely heavy. I do like the handles on each end, I like the handle for rolling it once out of the vehicle. However I think they should have had wheels at one end also for the money, as some doors are not that wide and you will wind up either dragging it sideways through the door or wait for someone to grab the other end. Other than that it's well built, looks good will protect your amp and very useful. Put your amp on top to get it off the ground so you don't have to use as much vol.Pretty good buy (with the exception of no wheels on the end) for the money. I would suggest one buy this unit for their amp.
