Good bus with a Lousy AC Adaptor

The KTEC AC Adaptor cord supplied by Gator for its Pedal Board Buss broke after limited use.  Can't find a replacement and Gator doesn't support its own Pedal Board product. Won't be buying Gator again.

So the actual power supply itself is not that bad.. It gets the job done for sure. However, the power cord connecting the supply to the wall SUCKS! It uses extremely thin copper wiring and just after rolling it up to pack away, will start to cause it to break. Mine broke not too long after having it and the thing is, you can't find just a replacement cord. I looked everywhere. decent product, TERRIBLE power cord. Be careful with it if you decide to get it.

This is a great beginner power supply, great for smaller boards. But as you upgrade and start buying pedals that require their own power supplies, (line 6, holy grail, etc..) then you will want something better. I would recomend a voodo lab 2, or a t-rex fuel tank. Again, this is for smaller setups...

This review is in regards to the power supply that came with my Gator GW-GIG Box Junior.  I used this power source to run an Electro-Harmonics Small Clone,   Aphex Acoustic Exciter, MXR DynaComp and Boss TU-2 tuner.  It worked great for about four months and then, while trading pedals between pedalboards one night, the power supply stopped working.  All pedals continued to work just fine, I just don't quite understand why it took this long to crap out.  Maybe I got a lemon, but but I think that for this price the product should last longer than four months!  I enjoyed this pedalboard while I could use it, but if I had it to do over I would just save a little more and get an SKB-45.

I got this to power my pedaltrain pro board.  It works pretty well.  There is a little hum in the signal b/c the outs arent isolated like on the Voodoo Labs PP but then again its a lot cheaper than the VL.  It serves its purpose so I dig it.
