This is a great case if you are looking for a simple, snug fitting case to hand carry or toss in the car. Like any soft case, it's not as protective as a hard sided one, but it's perfect for local use. Also if you are looking for an all in one bag to hold lots of other items like books or laptops, they have some other models for that. This has a shallow outside pocket that will fit a book or stack of paper, etc.
My only minor complaint is that my P-Bass just fits, and sometimes I nudge the tuning keys out of tune when taking it in and out.
Very nice looking, high initial quality, appears like it will hold up well with use.

The case in that picture is nothing like the one that shows up in the mail. There are no sidewalls on the case to give it that semi-hard shell look. I bought this case because I thought it would give a little more support to my guitar. Its just like any other cheap gig bag.

I own a bass to play around with at home and this bag does enough to protect it. The only problem I have is it's slightly smaller for the type of bass I got it for (violin/beetle). Other than that, it does the job. If you toss or lug your bass around town everyday, I'd get a case!
