The bag holds up nicely, you can carry anything you would need, and the price is stellar for the bag you are getting.
If you're a broke college student like me who only needs a case to keep your friends from knocking your guitar over, then look no further. I got a Yamaha F335 and this bag fits perfectly for it. The front pouch is bigger than I thought, but I only keep a capo and a handful of picks in there, I'm sure it can fit a strap if the need arises. It's good for propping up against the wall, and the straps are good for when I need to walk across campus with it. I don't use the back strap, but that's just me. For the price this is the best gig bag.
A couple of random fibers shooting off of the stitching, but nothing a pair of scissors can't fix.
I don't need a hard case for my guitar (mostly because I keep it in my dorm), and I don't gig, so this works perfectly fine for those trips inbetween dorm rooms. Perfect gig bag for a guitarist on a budget.

Why Pay More?
I do not see why anyone would pay more for this type of bag. The construction and workmanship appear to be very high (the zippers work perfectly, the material is rugged, etc)....Read complete review
I do not see why anyone would pay more for this type of bag. The construction and workmanship appear to be very high (the zippers work perfectly, the material is rugged, etc). The zippered compartment is very roomy. THe shoulder straps make carry on either shoulder very comfortable. And, very importantly, it fits my dreadnought perfectly (1972 Guild D-40).

Comments about Gator GBE-Dread Gig Bag for Dreadnought Guitars:
I bought this for my Ibanez acoustic, for which I also have a hard shell case. This was an inexpensive option, but the gig bag is sufficient to protect it during trips around town, which is the purpose of a gig bag. It has one large pocket for accessories, which can be filled with a towel or a wash cloth or accessories that will provide extra protection, if necessary. Gator is a good company, I have a Gator hardshell case for my Strat, and am very happy with that as well.

This was an inexpensive buy - but not cheap quality by any means! Very sturdy, it looks great, and it gets the job done. My husband was thrilled to receive it for Christmas.

Comments about Gator GBE-Dread Gig Bag for Dreadnought Guitars:
Ordered this with my new guitar thinking it would be good enough for around the house but decided to go with a hard case instead so I sent it back. I've never owned a bag before but for someone that has I think they would be happy with it.

Purchased bag for my son and he was very surprised at the price when I told him. It is a quality bag and he was very happy with the size and padding also. All in all it was a great buy and would highly recommend this bag.

Comments about Gator GBE-Dread Gig Bag for Dreadnought Guitars:
I don't have anything to compare this to because my other case is a hard shell, but I can say I'm happy with this and I feel like I got a good deal and good quality for what I paid.
I'm carrying a Yamaha FG730S (dreadnought) in this bag with no problem. It has a handle so you can carry it like a suitcase and a strap to carry over your shoulder.
There's also a large zippered pocket on the bottom front.

I purchased this to transport my 12 string guitar . So far it has protected the guitar very well.

Comments about Gator GBE-Dread Gig Bag for Dreadnought Guitars:
I bought this for the my Yamaha F335. Another review mentioned the same guitar so I figured that was a sign. A friend told me about the brand so I essentially went with one of the cheapest. The guitar came with a VERY cheap bag that only opened from the bottom... this bag zips around the side. I know most of the bags do, but this was my initial reason for replacing the bag that came with it. For the price it is totally awesome, in fact, I don't really know what else one would hope to find in a bag like this... Maybe the more expensive versions have more padding? More pockets? IDK, but one pocket was fine by me and the padding is enough for taking it around. The shoulder strap has two places to hook on so you can pick depending on if you sling it over your left, or right shoulder. My guitar was $50 so maybe if I just dropped $1000 on a Taylor or Martin I would think about a hard case, or a soft case with ultra protection. It seems to be constructed well, the zippers operate smoothly. Really happy with the purchase!
