The bag holds up nicely, you can carry anything you would need, and the price is stellar for the bag you are getting.
If you're a broke college student like me who only needs a case to keep your friends from knocking your guitar over, then look no further. I got a Yamaha F335 and this bag fits perfectly for it. The front pouch is bigger than I thought, but I only keep a capo and a handful of picks in there, I'm sure it can fit a strap if the need arises. It's good for propping up against the wall, and the straps are good for when I need to walk across campus with it. I don't use the back strap, but that's just me. For the price this is the best gig bag.
A couple of random fibers shooting off of the stitching, but nothing a pair of scissors can't fix.
I don't need a hard case for my guitar (mostly because I keep it in my dorm), and I don't gig, so this works perfectly fine for those trips inbetween dorm rooms. Perfect gig bag for a guitarist on a budget.

Bought 2 of these based on the reviews on this page. Received them quickly, as usual from MF. The boxes were huge, but when I opened them it was mostly air.

The case just barely fit my Martin 6 string. My Martin 12 string did not fit. This is something that should be disclosed!

The fabric looks like it is heavy duty stuff, but there is, at best, 1/2 inch of foam around the body of the guitar and maybe 1/4 inch of foam around the headstock. The zippers look to be good quality, but the fit around the body of a Martin dreadnaught is so tight that you have to use great care not to scratch the guitar while operating the zippers.

The fabric and foam around the body will only protect your guitar from scratches. Do not expect it to protect your guitar body from anything but the lightest impacts to smooth surfaces. The foam around the headstock is so thin that it will not protect your guitar from bent and broken tuners.

Bottom line, I would not recommend this to a friend. If you plan to use this for anything except storage, do more research and spend more money than I did. And do not even consider them for a 12 string.

Bought daughter 1st guitar for college... she has lots of friends all playing together in premiere Recording Industry Program at MTSU... so she will be traveling all over campus and beyond with guitar so she needed something to protect the investment of the instrument that will last with a little TLC... for a basic bag its great protection durable attractive ... for price I was unsure if it would be worth it but it was.

Comments about Gator GBE-Dread Gig Bag for Dreadnought Guitars:

The zipper sticks on this gig bag for an accoustic guitar. I had to return it. I paid more for the hardshell case by Musicans Friend but I am very happy with my purchase. Great service, friendly people and quick service. Hard to beat these guys. Thanks and Merry Christmas guys!

Comments about Gator GBE-Dread Gig Bag for Dreadnought Guitars:

From the price alone you know this gig bag isn't top quality, but it works just fine for basic protection against scratches, dings, and humidity. I keep my mid-range Fender in it for local gigs and I couldn't be happier for the price.

Comments about Gator GBE-Dread Gig Bag for Dreadnought Guitars:

I needed a lightweight case for transporting my Ibanez AEF-37 acoustic around town and I didn't want to shell out 100 bones for the licensed Ibanez case. The fit is decent (just a little extra room), cushioning is decent, and pocket is spacious. I recommend this bag if you just need something to put your guitar in while you go to the beach or rehearsal. I wouldn't recommend this bag if you are doing long distance traveling or loading your guitar with large amounts of other gear going to a gig.

Comments about Gator GBE-Dread Gig Bag for Dreadnought Guitars:

I paid a low price, and got a flimsy case. I'm surprised it didn't come with more cushioning and more bottom protection.

It works, carries the guitar, but not a great fit (expected). It's easy to bump and damage the guitar while in this case.
