this is DEFINITELY not made for several power amps. however...i use it for my ampeg SVTpro bass head, raxxess fans, and a line conditioner and its fine. still have room for effects and a tuner. my handles havent broke and the wheels are a back saver. this is good for the weekend warrior but if you're on the road go with something more heavy duty.

Terrible terrible terrible.Bought this rack to hold several power amps, the pull out handle is similar to one found on a cheap suitcase, made of flimsy aluminum and plastic. The case itself is made of press moulded sheep plastic glued together, and the handles on the case are glued in pieces of flimsy aluminum.After 4 gigs the pull out handle broke off and the wheels stopped moving; had to carry it around for the next gig where the side handles broke off almost destroying several thousand dollars worth of precious gear inside. But thats just the outside. the Built in power strip is helpful, but only has 4 outlets. so additional power sources are needed. Inside there is no type of insulation or reinforcement, just the plastic sheet glued together as listed before. The "Field Replaceable Rack Rails" are possibly the worst part of this case. The rails are not attached to the case, rather they are located behind a series of holes in an aluminum rail riveted to the case. Basicly its a steel rail behind an aluminum rail, and it requires rack screws to attach these two together, wasting precious space inside. The problem with this is that the threaded steel rail holes, do not match up with the holes in the aluminum, resulting in sever stripped screws and scratched gear. Putting gear in a rack should be fast and easy but this peticular piece of work makes it a LONG and DIFFICULT process to simply put a screw in. The doors on the case require you to lift the case off of the ground in order to mount them on, this process takes patience and practice; several tries for each door. Getting the doors off is a bigger chore. The case must be lifted while the door is slowly opened and pushed simultaniously. Also dont set anything on top of the case or the top will bend in and possible cause harm and/or scratches to your gear.All in all.... THIS IS THE WORST RACK SYSTEM I HAVE EVER USED AND WILL NEVER EVER EVER EVER BUY ANYTHNIG FROM GATOR EVER AGAIN.
