Comments about Gator TSA ATA Molded Acoustic Guitar Case:
This is little more than a regular hard-shell case with different latches and some extra feet built in. I have flown to several different points on the globe with this case, and while it got my guitar there in one piece, I did have to add some extra padding inside to keep the guitar from moving around.
Second, is the construction... After the first flight, one of the "feet" was completely broken off. The TERRIBLE latches were sprung after the first flight. Often times, I would get my case back with only ONE latch still fastened in place!
When I contacted Gator about the warranty, they said they would fix/replace it, but I had to cover the shipping, which was nearly as much as I paid for the case. Bought an SKB i-Series case and never looked back. Spend the extra money and get a better case.
