Comments about Gerlitz Guitar Honey Fretboard Treatment:

After seeing this recommended time & time again, thought I'd try it. After 50 years I've finally found the best fretboard treatment product! Doesn't have the slippery feel of mineral oil or so-called "lemon" oil (which is just scented mineral oil). Doesn't leave any residue, and a very small amount goes a long way. It's also useful if you have a light or irregular-colored rosewood board--gives it a nice uniform color.

Comments about Gerlitz Guitar Honey Fretboard Treatment:

I've used Guitar Honey since 1989. When I bought my Larrivee, the dealer said only use this on your guitar. I have since used it on all my guitars, and would, and do recommend this to everyone.

Comments about Gerlitz Guitar Honey Fretboard Treatment:

I purchased this after hearing that lemon oil wasn't good to use on your fretboard. I like the convenience of the spray bottle and it seems to wipe off pretty easy, just be sure not to get it on your guitar body or neck or it leaves an oily feel and spots on the finish. These came off after a little rubbing. I wish the wood would darken as much as it did with lemon oil but maybe that's not good for the fretboard. I would buy again.

Comments about Gerlitz Guitar Honey Fretboard Treatment:

I had a new bridge installed on my 74 Gibson heritage model. The guitar is in great shape so I asked the luthier the best way to protect the guitar and he turned me on to this product. He said to not use lem oil because it is slightly acidic and would dry the fret board out over time. He said this stuff was the best and he was right. This product brings out the beauty in the wood, polishes the inlays, and clean the fret better than anything I have tried. It also gives the fret board a super smooth feel which makes the instrument feel like silk. I have used it on all of my guitars with ebony and rosewood fret board and it is amazing. This is a must for protecting your fret board.
