Incredible Strings SRV tone to the max

Comments about GHS DYM Boomers Medium - Wound 3rd Electric Guitar Strings:

These strings are incredible bright and scream SRV tone. The unwound G is such a quintessential part of playing, and for the first time I hear a G string and don't think it sounds off.
If you are craving the SRV tone, get these strings. Yes they take a lot of effort to get used to, but they are totally worth it.

Comments about GHS DYM Boomers Medium - Wound 3rd Electric Guitar Strings:

I have a demanding style, and these strings stand up and stay in tune.

Although this guage isn't for "lead" playing, due to stiffness, you can can play the heck out of them and stay in tune the entire set.

Comments about GHS DYM Boomers Medium - Wound 3rd Electric Guitar Strings:

These are the strings SRV used, Need I say more. They do not break ever. I mean ever. They give you the good SRV sound, but its not only for SRV either, if you can handle it play a little Metallica through them, a little GN'R. They make everything you play sound great with big fat tone. Not for faint of Heart as you need finger strength. They will eat your fingers at first but you get use to them. Play big, loud , and fat or go home.

        You gotta get these

        By Sam Hubschman

        from fl

Comments about GHS DYM Boomers Medium - Wound 3rd Electric Guitar Strings:

I don't usually write reviews for anything I buy so believe when I say these are the real deal. You gotta get these for the SRV sound. These strings took me a few weeks to get used to (I think I had 11s before) but if you use these you don't need to go on the goosehunt that people do buying 5 different pedals to get his sound. I just play a Strat through a fender amp and it's all there for me. I really didn't believe strings made a difference before these, but these really do help to get a killer sound. I'd really not recommend getting these yet if you've only played thinner strings before though; I've got pretty big hands and after a while these get me wore out.
