Been using GHS Boomers for years. Always sound good and last as long as higher priced strings. When I find something that works this good, I stick with it.

I purchased my first bass a little over a year ago. I enjoy practicing almost everyday, but I felt I was missing something. I upgraded to an expensive set of flatwound strings because I thought they would help my sound. While the tone was nice at the bottom, they were a little too rich at the top. They were also so thick they were bowing my neck.Since then I changed to these GHS boomers. I can't say how different the feel and tone is. Much easier on my fingers and the sound is really incredible. This is what I was looking for.Great deal on a 2 pack of awesome stings.Highly recommend.

If you're truly looking for the piano bell-tone quality, these are the strings. Easy on the fingers. They respond beautifully to either a slap or pick technique (note, if you happen to like using copper, bronze or stone picks, prepare to be blown away).I've used these strings for years, both on cheap $100 basses and $2000 basses. Working player's string. Yeah, they won't last as long as the coated strings out there, but at this price, who cares?

I put a set of these on my epiphone thunderbird and have never looked back! The tone they bring to my T-bird is that of angels! It gives me a good low... it reminds me of bass sounds that can be found on a few Jack Johnson songs. In addition, I love the feel of the strings when I walk with my right hand (I use a high action).

These bass strings are by far the best I've ever played with!They feel great and have lasted for quite a while. They still look and sound new! A friend of mine, who also plays bass and had just changed the strings of their bass recently, played my bass and commented on how much better my bass played then his. (our basses are the exact same model of Washburn bass!)So there you go, these are great. Buy 'em.
