Comments about Gibraltar Rubber Cymbal Sleeve - Tall:

These cymbal mounts are perfect in that they allow the cymbal to freely move, so that they ring clearer and are less prone to being broken on a hard smack. All manufacturers should drop the felt mounts currently used on cymbal stands and include these rubber sleeves instead. These are the future. How it works: remove felt and previous sleeve from stand. Separate this two-piece (upper and lower) sleeve and slide the lower one over the stand rod. Place the cymbal on the sleeve and then slide the upper piece on. When the cymbal is struck, the cymbal "wobbles" freely. I have them on all cymbal stands. Excellent product - Excellent.
