The String Saver Saddles PRS (PQ-8220-00) are superior replacement saddles for Paul Reed Smith guitars. The guitar saddles are made with a unique combination of materials that enhance tone and dramatically reduce string breakage.
How do they work?
A string rests on a metal saddle that binds and locks the string in place. As the string vibrates, it is stressed on a very specific point producing metal fatigue and then string breakage. Each String Saver guitar saddle is impregnated with Teflon, the slipperiest substance on earth. The Teflon in String Savers eases the grip between the saddle and string, spreading the stress over a greater portion of the string, just enough to drastically reduce string breakage. Teflon is 500% more slippery than graphite and is impregnated throughout the String Saver material, so its lubricating properties will never wear out. What do they sound like?
Metal saddles have a pronounced 2 KHz treble spike that dominates the tonal spectrum. String Saver guitar saddles have a more balanced tone, with highs, mids and big open lows. You will also notice an increase in sustain by up to 25% over brass saddles and 15% over steel.

This saddles will make you feel better more stable the´re really easy to setup you can adjust the action of your PRS and you will win some great sustain and they re much better looking than the regular saddles on the prs

I have a PRS Paul Allender SE model. Bought the guitar used, great condition, very confortable guitar. Practicing with the guys I started breaking the B string. Well, the strings are old so I changed them. Next practice, same string! So I thought about upgrading the saddles cause thats where they were breaking. I've replaced saddles before but I wanted some top of the line ****! Bought these set for PRS's, BLOW YOU AWAY!!! Once the set up, you'll be amazed how well you stay in tune, no breakage, and sound quality is much better. Highly recommend!
