I put these on a Black Top Tele that really needed some love. The setup from Fender was very poor, with the nut unradiused and the break across the nut far too flat. After installing this kit and setting the guitar up properly, it played much better with noticeably improved sustain and tone. Also the original bridge pieces have sharp edges that make palm muting very uncomfortable. These new pieces are smooth and eliminate that easily fixable oversight.
I've loved these saddles for years and the kit is a cool little combo of parts that I will buy again.

Well, I got this for a MIK Squier I've been modding. The guitar plays well as is, but I was having tuning problems after using the tremolo bar, even though I've installed locking tuners on it. So I installed all the stuff: string trees, nut and saddles and Voila! Major divebombing and no more tuning problems!! Of course, I've been fiddling with my trem springs and screws to achieve a good return to zero, and these lubbed parts compliment that work. Keep that in mind.
Be warned, I had to sand down the nut a bit as it was too high from the factory, but the kit includes the sandpaper, so no biggie... Also, the screws that come with the string trees are thicker and longer. I used the ones I had from the original string trees no prob.
The saddles are pretty light and I was affraid I might lose tone but no, didn't happen. The tone is slightly different now, brighter and I have a tad more sustain than before. Had to adjust my treble on the setup, but wow, the harmonics that come out of my guitar now are delicious!
