If you have a high quality acoustic or vintage guitar, you owe it to yourself to hear the difference a TUSQ saddle will make. Compared to standard materials, you'll hear crystal clear bell-like high end, big open lows, and a noticeable increase in overall sustain.

TUSQ saddles are designed to transfer the right frequencies more efficiently from the string to the guitar body, and have been proven to increase a guitar's harmonic sustain. Hear your acoustic guitar come alive with delicate highs and big open lows!

TUSQ is far superior in sound and appearance to synthetics such as Micarta and Corian. The high levels of heat and pressure used in making TUSQ results in its exotic ivory-like appearance.

Join those who know great guitar tone! TUSQ is used by: Martin, Taylor, Larrivee, Gibson Acoustic Guitars, Tacoma Guitars, Ovation, Rick Turner, Garrison Guitars, Breedlove, Manuel Rodriguez, Rainsong, Carvin, Landola and many, many more.

TUSQ has quickly become an important tone performance tool for many guitar manufacturers, luthiers and playing professionals around the world.

Bone and ivory have hard and soft spots (grain), throughout each piece, hampering consistent transfer of vibrations to the guitar top.

TUSQ nuts have rich tone and sustain, without the inconsistency found in ivory, bone and other natural materials.

Comments about Graph Tech TUSQ Acoustic Guitar Saddle - Non-Compensated Martin 3/32" Ivory:

Works fine and sounds good, better than my stock saddle from Takamine. I gave only 4 stars because there's always room for improvement, and I hear bone sounds even better. I dont have the experience with bone yet so had to leave this at a 4 to account for a better product than this.

On my Takemine EF341SC with the original bone saddle, the 1st, 2nd & 3rd strings were buzzing. I replaced the saddle with this TUSQ saddle. I had to cut the saddle to size, but that was easy using the original saddle as template. Not only did the buzzing disappear, but the sound improved! I bought more TUSQ saddles to try on my other guitars.

If you care about helping make your guitar sound the best it possibly can, this is a must buy, I bought this one for a friend and he was very pleased with what it did for his Takamine 330.Which I believe is one of the mid priced models. It does wonders for the tone and sustain. He now prefers it to his old Martin. This makes a tremendous improvement for very little money.

I have a Martin DX1 guitar and decided to try a bone saddle on it. But it had a somewhat shrill and sharp sound, especially in the upper register. So I installed the non-compensated Tusq saddle and what a difference. The deep rich tone and that classic "woody" Martin sound is back! In addition, it fits like a glove, nice and snug but not too tight, and the height was just right for nice low action. No sanding or shaping required and I highly recommend it!

As part of an upgrade project on my 1980 Takamine F385 12-string, I replaced an under-saddle piezo with a Baggs I-beam active pickup and as a result needed to get a new saddle (I also installed Tusq pins). This saddle was a little thick and a little long for the slot but was easy to sand down and get a correct fit. The resulting sound is incredible (both amplified and acoustic). The overtones come through much more strongly which improves sustain and string resonance.
