Great value and price.My AS73 fits nice and snug side to side,but there's a bit of movement up and down.I solved this by putting a small towel between the heel of the guitar and the bottom of the case.Case is a bit bulky but it's sturdy and should protect the guitar for the long haul.Again great bang for the buck.Happy overall.

This case is made for the AS-73 and it fits in real snug. However because the AS-73 is only a few inches thick and and not fat like a full hollowbody, the guitar sits in the case in a not so great way. The guitar body at the bottom end sits down in the case while the head end rises up, with the weight of the guitar riding on the neck saddle. (Imagine a heavy kid on a teeter-totter) I think I'll have to make small pillow to put under the body of the guitar to raise it up. Being this is the Ibanez recommended case, I am a little disappointed. Over all a real decent case in terms of quality.

As was described by another user... chemical/glue(?) smell inside is overpowering.
I don't remember the case manufacturer, but I did remember the logo. I have purchased their cases before. Those did NOT have the same smell as this one. Otherwise it's perfect!

Quality case with nice construction and materials. There are metal feet on the bottom of the case so it will stand upright- nice touch. The latches and handle are not heavy-duty, but work just fine.
The only thing I don't like about the case is the strong chemical smell from the adhesive used to attach the plush liner to the case. It's quite strong. I'm hoping it airs out.

We had a difficult time finding a hard case for the Ibanez AS 53 semi-hollow. It's a very wide guitar. Fits perfectly in this case! Nice lining inside the case too. They shipped it right out.

Was pro/semi-pro bassist, but, in my old age, I play my two Ibanez Acoustics and my one Ibanez electric, most of the time. I love and respect my relativey-inexpensive 6-strings enough to be sure that they have the best protection when travelling or for storing, and Ibanez cases R it! Sharp looking too!

I am glad I bought it here because I got the best case for the best price.
I purchased from Musicians Friend now 3 times and found that the ship so fast I recieve it up here in North Dakota in 4 days. That is awesome. Also this case is exactly what it is supposed to be. If you take the time to match the case to the instrument, it will fit just perfect. I couldn't have bought a better product or a more perfect fit anywhere else in the world.
