I bought both this bracket (K&M #16280) and also K&M #16250. K&M recommends both brackets for all kinds of guitars. This bracket is a better choice for classical guitars, though, because it is deep enough to keep the tuning pegs from hitting the wall when inserting or removing the instrument. K&M #16250 (Musician's Friend SKU #712675000000000) is very shallow and harder to use with classical guitars; I think that one is better for electric guitars. 16250 also has spring-loaded arms, a nice feature that this bracket does not have.

Comments about K&M Guitar Wall Mount:
It was important to me to have 2 screws to anchor the guitar wall mount. Items were shipped to me in a timely manner arriving 5 days before the expected date.
Comments about K&M Guitar Wall Mount:
This wall mount is awesome. For the price you can't get any better. I have 3 and they haven't failed me yet. Make sure you screw them into a secure part of the wall. Dry wall alone probably won't hold up too long
Comments about K&M Guitar Wall Mount:
This is not like a piece of crap that you would originally get. This is a very sturdy wall mount. The rubber holder gives fantastic grip. No more worries about the guitar falling off the wall.
Comments about K&M Guitar Wall Mount:
This is a great wall mount. It is plastic but durable enough to hold virtually any guitar or bass. I have several of these in my studio and they are easy to install. I don't have to worry about my guitars ending up on the floor. Great product for a great price.
Comments about K&M Guitar Wall Mount:
Prior to buying this, I researched several other brands, as well as reading the reviews for each. I am very happy I purchased this item, it is of extremely high quality rubber/plastic, and very durable. If you mount this to a stud, you could probably do pull-ups from this. Also, the adjustable arms make it easy to fit almost any guitar. Do yourself a favor and buy this one.
Comments about K&M Guitar Wall Mount:
The bases are plastic, but VERY strong. I'm hanging several basses from them, including a fairly heavy, expensive Carvin, and I'm not worried about finding any of them on the floor due to manufacturing defects. Make sure you are screwing into something secure and you will be happy! The rubber covering the arms are soft, yet durable. Yes, you'll have to spend an extra 10 on screws, but seriously? If that's the only gripe you have, then you need to get out more. BUY THESE!
Comments about K&M Guitar Wall Mount:
K&M makes good stuff, and this is no exception. For those who are griping about the absence of screws - keep in mind that every installation of these will be different, and several different types and lengths of screws might be needed. Most of the time you'd end up going to the hardware store or your workbench anyway - don't let the absence of screws steer you away from a good product!
Comments about K&M Guitar Wall Mount:
First off it comes with no screws so get ready for a trip down to the hardware store - All I have to say about thatThese hangers are nice and sturdy and you can hang just about and guitar or bass from them, just buy the appropriate mounting gear. For the price, wall hangers don't get any better than this.
Comments about K&M Guitar Wall Mount:
This is easily the best hanger on the market at any price, but is also one of the least expensive. Excellently crafted (German made), very high quality materials, superbe design, and simple, unobtrusive looks. I've owned several types of wall hangers and this design is truly universal b/c the arms pivot to adapt to the headstock contours and hold any weight and shape (e.g. Fender P-Bass) very securely. A few note the absence of screws, but I always substitute my own choice of screws and anchors so I consider that a non-issue. I bought one just to check it out and now am going to order 4 more. Not all product types have something you can call "perfect", but seriously, this is the one.
