The version I received is different cosmetically that what is in the picture. The new version has ridges and a prominent 'Kyser' logo with a religious symbol (crucifix). Functionally the product works the same as the old one - meaning it's terrific. I've used the old version heavily over the past 10-15 years and it still works great. Just be aware that it may look differently that what is shown (I purchased the silver one).

my personal favorite capo. i've tried many models, but keep coming back to this one. don't buy a cheap capo; a kyser is worth spending a little more.

With this capo, turn the picture given above of the capo, flip it upside down and imagine THAT on your guitar. Not the way that the picture makes it look like. The clamp sticks up, and can get in the way of your hand a littlebit more tha other designs. It doesn't look as sleak as other capos that point their clamps down, but yet, this capo is much easier to change where you want to capo to go. That's why it's called the "Quick-Change" capo. Hope this helped :)

I bought this to have a spare but it makes my guitars sharp and sound out of tune.I am going to stick with my original one which has an adjustable screw for tension.Not worth the money to me.

I just received mine on Christmas and I am already in love it. It really gives the guitar a bright, natural tone which is exactly what I was looking for. It feels very sturdy on the guitar yet is very quick to move around the neck. Much better than my Dunlop capo (which still serves its own purpose, though; I hate comparing the two.)
