Comments about Kyser Short Cut 3-String Acoustic Guitar Capo:

Works great on the lower part of the neck. In the mid to high neck, the cut out doesn't quite match the strigs on my guitar, so its a bit tricky. But works great on the low neck. Most useful in the 2nd fret position. I bought a book on using partial capos to go with it, which is helpful getting you started if you have never used a short cut capo.

Very nice "cut/chop" capo

Comments about Kyser Short Cut 3-String Acoustic Guitar Capo:

I used to make these with a hacksaw. Nice to have one that is factory made for alternate tunings. Easy to park on the headstock, easy to adjust.
does exactly what it's supposed to do!
Kyser...that name means quality capos.
Very good value

Comments about Kyser Short Cut 3-String Acoustic Guitar Capo:

Awesome capo. A must-have.
You have to buy this thing. It's an amazing piece of gear that I don't think I could live without. There really isn't much more I can say. This thing is fantastic. Not a single complaint.

This is the coolest thing...maybe even before sliced bread!

Comments about Kyser Short Cut 3-String Acoustic Guitar Capo:

As I said above, it's a really cool product!
Man! Why didn't I think of this! In the past I have avoided putting some of my DADGAD songs in my sets, because I hate re-tuning in the middle of a set and it always seemed a bit puffed up to take two guitars to a simple gig. Enter this beautiful little device: and presto! no re-tuning. It basically takes a standard tuned guitar and changes it to DADGAD up a full tone. Then (and this is even slicker than all that) playing up the neck it's back in standard tuning again!

My advice: buy one for each guitar case or you'll find it's always in the one you left at home.
how much can you really do to a capo?! it either capes or it doesn't (capo schmapo, just so long as it sounds pretty!)

Comments about Kyser Short Cut 3-String Acoustic Guitar Capo:

Nothing bad to say at all
The Kyser cut capo is excellent, super easy to play and absolutely perfect for beginers. However I use it as a 2nd guitar accompanment which is awesome! add this to your accessories for your acoustic or electric guitar.
Kayser always builds great capo's

Short Cut 3-String Capo

Comments about Kyser Short Cut 3-String Acoustic Guitar Capo:

Try it and you'll like it.
Take the time to investigate the varying positions and go online for use suggestions. Wonderful sound changes to the standard capo. Great price, easy to use, sturdily built, doesn't get in the way during use. I don't hesitate to recommend giving it a try.

Opens up a wide range to your playing

By PRS FAN-TIvDM

Comments about Kyser Short Cut 3-String Acoustic Guitar Capo:

This is a great capo if your looking for a great new way to expand your horizons in your playing. I love this capo, and it gets the job done, but yet a good price. I got this orig. to Play Agustin Amigo's Version of Video Killed the Radio Star, but I also found alot of other stuff, such as Andy Mckee's Rylynne.

You Need This!

By Older Player

Comments about Kyser Short Cut 3-String Acoustic Guitar Capo:

I was introduced to these by my pastor as we were practicing the worship music. I ordered one that night. It has added an incredible depth to my playing, and I've written songs using the modified "open E" it creates. I never perform without one on each of my acoustics.

Use More Than The Short Cut Capo

By The Capo Kid

from Indiana

Comments about Kyser Short Cut 3-String Acoustic Guitar Capo:

I caught a John Gorka concert and saw this little marvel of a capo. So simple and yet it adds so much color to the sound. So I bought it and have played with it alone as well as with a full capo to change keys. Hint: put it just on the 7th fret and play with Amin/F/C chords and then strum. Then cover the open strings on the 3rd or 5th fret and strum - very cool - you are playing below the capo. Then I caught the short cut capo videos that Kyser has online. Now I own a full 6-string capo, the short-cut capo, and a drop-D capo. Yes, sometimes I play with three capo's on my fretboard. I know, I could learn all the open tuning variations but when you learn the power of these capo's, then you don't have to learn open tunings or spend extra time tuning.
