This is a fantastic strap. The 2" version is what I have. It is tight where it needs to be (I have strong hands and putting it on my P-bass was actually a little difficult) and supple the rest of the length. This strap has only one drawback to me. It can be difficult to adjust, especially for small adjustments. I usually had to remove it from my body to adjust it. Then when I did, it usually adjusted more than I wanted, but then it was easy to get it back to where I wanted it. It is leather, so I expect that to become easier as time goes on.
As another point, but not a true con, strap locks are a bit difficult to install on the strap as the leather is thick and strong. However, when installed, they stay and never get squirrelly.

a couple years ago I bought several leather Levys straps, and love them, was looking to add a few more for my new guitars, and these are very poor quality at any price point. Being in the higher price point it is a real disappointment, I returned mine. The ones i bought a couple years ago were much cheaper and good quality, these cost more and are much worse quality. They just don't make 'em like they used too.

Comments about Levy's Leather Guitar Strap:
Well made all leather strap this is loooong. I'm a big guy who plays bass and usually max out or can't use regular straps. This strap still has plenty of room left to go longer. It's not cheap but I don't think it's overpriced. Only con is it won't help with a neck heavy instrument since the leather is smooth. But that is why they make straps with suede backing.
Comments about Levy's Leather Guitar Strap:
This strap was really the only one MF offered that met my needs. I wanted a 3 inch, full leather, adjustable (larger range than most of the other "sized" straps) which was adjusted with the buckel and didn't have that thinner piece of leather that most other ones had in the picture. This strap delivered, it's extremely comfy and distributes the weight of my Les Paul well. If someone stole it, I'd buy a new one in a heartbeat.
Other notes: I was surprised how heavy this strap was, but it's the 3 inch version and full leather, so it makes sense. The loops are nice and snug and I don't feel like the guitar will slip out (I don't use strap locks). Note that I use it only at home, so I'm not going crazy on stage with it.
Leather, choice of thickness, wide range of adjustabilty, as far as straps go, this one has it all.
Looks and feels really well made. No loose ends or imprefections that I noticed.
It's pricey for the 3 inch, but for an all leather strap which is made in Canada, it's still good value.
Comments about Levy's Leather Guitar Strap:
Over all this strap is great. It looks good and is just the ticket if you want a wide strap for a heavy instrument or if you have neck and shoulder issues. If you want a long strap this is the longest I have found (though I am not saying there aren;t longer ones available, only that I haven;t seen any).
Nice wide strap to help distribute the weight of your guitar over a larger area so as to avoid sore shoulder and neck. The length is a plus as it is longer than most other leather straps so it's good for tall people or those that have a big belly like myself...or those that want to let their ax hang super low. The length is easily adjusted while on the guitar which is nice. I would have given it a higher rating here but, it's a fairly plain strap. Though it is a very nice one. I will say I am not too crazy about the shape at the ends. It just seems to taper in a weird way. And, the adjustment buckle is very plain looking plastic...not that I expected it to be made of anything else. However, when you see the buckle in person as opposed to in a picture it just doesn;t seem to fit the look of the strap.
The leather is of good quality and I do not see any of the stitching problems another reviewer brought up. I see no reason this strap should not last a good long time.
Ok, here is where I am going to mark it a bit lower. Yes, it is nice leather and, in general, leather straps are expensive. This one being longer I suppose you can expect the higher price. I am just not sure if it is worth so much more than the less expensive leather and suede straps.
Comments about Levy's Leather Guitar Strap:
I got the 3" strap. Really comfortable strap. I have it on my Epiphone Les Paul Custom. It distributes the weight of the Les Paul evenly across my shoulders. I would definitely buy this strap again.
I like the roller-style strap adjuster. It makes it easy to adjust (if necessary).
The leather is of good quality. The only issue I have is that there is a minimal amount of "threading" in a couple of places. Carefully use a lighter to singe them flush.
Price seems a little high but is well worth the money.
Comments about Levy's Leather Guitar Strap:
I bought one of these straps a couple years ago and it is the best strap I have ever owned. I am 6'3" so I need plenty of room and this strap has it. Plus it is insanely comfortable. I will be buying another one soon.
Comments about Levy's Leather Guitar Strap:
Normal straps don't fit me at a good height or good comfort and I'm 6'1". This is by far THE most comfortable strap out there. Now I don't have to worry about my strap length!
Comments about Levy's Leather Guitar Strap:
I bought this strap well over a year ago, and it is simply amazing. It is easily the most comfortable strap i have ever had the pleasure of using. If you are looking for a strap that you want to sling low, last long, and be insanely comfortable look no further.
