I have had the cables I am reviewing for over a year now...they're still working fine. There are probably some other "super- high- end -gold plate-cables" out there someplace but hey.... these are pretty darn good without the super high end price. I have 4 of the 12 inch and 10 of a 6 inch patch size I purchased for my 2 pedal boards and I have no complaints. Good quality + price. I just took out my mutli-meter to measure for resistance across a few of these cables prior to writing this and it was zero ohms...no loss, same as a more expensive Mogami cable I have here. It is flexible enough without feeling flimsy and the added blue strain relief adds to the durablity. I have not had the issues with failure as on some of the other reviews but I use them as patch cables so they do not take much abuse in my application. Hope that helps

I have purchased and used Live Wire cables for a while with mixed success. The latest addition was a 3' patch cord that I had trouble plugging in. Upon inspection of the phone jack, I found the white plastic ring was incomplete and sticking up preventing easy insertion. Another issue is that the screw-on end covers tend to get loose easily and sometimes affects the connection.

Opened the packages, hooked them up, no sound. Only 2 of the 4 worked. Tested the cables and 2 were completely shorted. Will send back and get better cables. Not a good cable.

Comments about Livewire Advantage Instrument Cable Angled/Angled:

I used to always buy the cheapest cables that I could find and for the longest time I thought that it was the nature of all instrument cables to fail after about 12-18 months of use.

I started using Livewire Advantage cables about 15 years ago. They cost more than the cheap cables I used to buy, but I figured that they would pay for themselves after a few free replacements when they inevitably failed.

Boy, was I ever wrong about that. In all my years of using these, I have never had a single one fail. I have bought lots of them over the years and the only problem that I have ever had was once buying one that was bad straight out of the packaging. It had to be returned, but was very much the exception to the rule.

There are lots of more expensive cables on the market. I can't tell you what you will get by spending more, but I can tell you that spending less is a false economy. The headaches from less expensive cables are not worth it.

Comments about Livewire Advantage Instrument Cable Angled/Angled:

Three feet of live wire with two right angle plugs. I use it to connect a zoom effects processor to the amplifier. Enough room to sit on top of the amplifier or on the floor if need be. I set mine on top of the amplifier using Velcro. I can tell no signal loss, tone unaffected and the cable works as I hoped it would.
I have used other Live Wires to connect guitar to amp and into effects. I find them to be good cables that hold up well and transfer signal well.

I have a few of these on my pedal board (1ft and 3ft). They seem solid, plug in firmly, and quiet. No problems at all. I'm buying a 6" one today, to replace the last cheapo on the board.

Comments about Livewire Advantage Instrument Cable Angled/Angled:

I usually don't give products the highest possible rating, simply because nothing man-made is perfect. I normally look for something to be wrong just to find a reason to NOT add that final star. I have found ONE THING wrong with this patch cable that I can't even deduct a star for; it won't go right into that "perfect 'U' shape" right out of the pack. Like I said, I can't even take a star away from it for that.

Comments about Livewire Advantage Instrument Cable Angled/Angled:

...actually, fantastic cables above-and-beyond their cost! Because of the difficulty of finding short-length right-angled cables I've used 10 6" and 1' cables in the connections on my pedalboard (also using their 10/15/18-foot cables for Bass-to-Pedalboard Input and Pedalboard Output-to-Preamp Input cables as well as my DigiTech JamMan, which needs to be routed through my preamp's Effects Loop) and have had absolutely no problems in either sound (excess noise/static or tone degradation) or construction quality. I've used LiveWire cables for various applications for YEARS, and have never had a single problem - totally reliable in my book!

Been using these cords for about 3 years. Have had zero problems with them. I like the lifetime guarantee. Hopefully I'll never have to use it but it is comforting . Well worth spending a little more for something that is of this quality. Tough to get tangled, heavy 1/4" connectors, very flexible cable.

I purchased 3 of the 1 footers over a year ago, another from MF about 2 months ago. I've use them about twice week for gigs and I'm rough on them (I tie them in 'knots' around my guitar case/strap at the end of each gig, and you'd think this would damage them after a years time.
