Really Cool Gadget! Easily slides on to any Plastic or Metal Music Stand with a thin bottom tray/lip and stays put. Countless uses... Holds all my small necessities like Pencils, Guitar Picks, Harmonicas, Extra Cable draped over, Tuner, Metronome etc. I will order more for the rest of the Band. Mine is Black Plastic. If you snag the bottom with your Instrument, it will retaliate by launching your Pencils! After picking them up off the floor, you will be thankful that it's somewhat pliable and did not break.

Visiting international musician saw my Manhasset accessory shelf attached to the Manhassett stand and wanted one. Gave her mine and ordered another for myself. Can't imagine having a stand without one!

I bought 8 of these for my percussion students to put their mallets on. One stand has 2 connected, one under the other, for 2 different kinds of mallets.
Great for pencils, mallets, valve oil, reeds, etc.
Strong, flexible plastic that should hold up.
Great price compared to the more expensive stands that have the shelf built in.

Before I purchased this product, I was always fighting with my writing items getting in the way of my music. I saw other musicians using this product and I thought I need one of those. Now my writing items are out of the way. This shelf also can be used with small electronic devices, misc short cables, iPods, some tuners if they are not too big. I knew I'd like this shelf so much I bought 2. I play bass guitar and I can pack this shelf in my bass case.
The shelf slides on music stands and stays in place. The plastic is strong enough to hold all of my needed items as a musician.

The price was very reasonable for the usefulness and qualilty of this shelf.
This plastic shelf is exactly what I needed. It slides right on to the music stand and allows a safe place to put my bow.
