Comments about Markbass Amp Bag Large:
For what I do, it's perfect, as long as the weather is good.
I hope they would make one like this for the MoMark because it is ridiculous to believe one would carry bunch of preamps and EQs with a MoMark.
The deal with MoMark is to build your own good sounding amp for a decent price. No one would switch preamps on a gig.
I used to cary my Momark TD800 in a Gator case with a Sabine Tuner. The main reason I caried a Gator case was for the tuner, because I hate to have a tuner pedal in the signal path, and the sabine tuner could be connect from a dedicated buffered output from the amp.
Recently I discovered the magical Snark tuner which clips on the instrument headstock. It works better then my old sabine.
Anywya, it allowed me to get rid of my rack case and go light weight. So I was looking for a gig bag, but the MoMark gig Bag is ridiculously expensive.
So I went with this one. It is 3 inches too wide, but the depth and hight are perfect, and it has traps on the sides for ventilation. It can also be caried as a back pack. On stage, you simply open the front and back to expose knobs and connectors. there is a little pouch for the cables.
It's cushioned but you cannot bump your left and right with this. It's just a mean to transport it and prevent scratches. Also the ventilation traps requires you to carry it in a plastic bag in case of bad weather.
But hey, I still like it better then carying a Gator case around. If I was a Pro and touring a lot, I would have it in a Gator case though.
