The picture MF is using is a very accurate depiction of this bag.
My cajon with dimensions of 11 3/8 x 11 7/8 x 19 5/8 fits snuggly in this bag. The largest cajon I would try to shoe horn into this bag would be 12 x 12 x 20. The outside dimensions of this bag measured from the corner beading is 12 x 13 x 20 1/2. The padding is adaquate for protecting the cajon. This is not a cheap bags made from flimsy materials. The zipper is what you would expect on a more expensive bag. The build quality is very similar to the more expensive bags but it does not share some of the features. (There are no rubber feet on the bottom. No pocket in or on the bag. No shoulder strap. The interior is a nylon material which is not fuzzy. The padding is not quite as thick. The handle straps do not go all the way around the bottom of the bag.)
It is absolutely unbeatable for price and quality. You won't be disappointed.

It was free with the purchase of a cajon and didn't come. I contacted them thru the Gearheads site and the girl wasn't very friendly with her reply but it is what it is.... That goes for the service and the product. This is my first bad review for musicians friend and for Meinl. The bag is cheap and has no sturdiness at all. Not even worth the 25 it sells for. This is why they are giving them free. Then the cajon wasn't even the right one that was advertised, but that's okay because I like this one better. Even though it was defective in ways not described. Oh well... whatever ... nevermind.

Comments about Meinl Standard Cajon Bag:

I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a bag, so this caught my eye. As other reviewers have said, it's a great bag. It doesn't have a shoulder strap, so that is a drawback, but for the price you can't beat it. It has good cushioning and is great protection for my Meinl standard cajon. I am very impressed and pleased with the construction and durability.

Comments about Meinl Standard Cajon Bag:

For the price you cannot beat the quality. I cannot see why anyone would spend any more money on cajon cases when this one will serve it's intended purpose just fine. Fits like a glove. You won't be disappointed.

Nice bag to protect my cajon at home. Prefer something a little thicker for gigs but it does work great as a sound muffler when I get put against walls, keeps the feedback down to a zero.

Comments about Meinl Standard Cajon Bag:

Smaller and poorer quality than the Meinl bag I received free with my full size cajon. Fits the smaller Headliner cajon, less padding, no zippered enclosure.
