Comments about Mighty Mite MM2930 Stratocaster Replacement Neck with an Ebony Fingerboard and Jumbo Frets:

The neck looks, plays and sounds great. It seems to give more sustain and have better action. I dressed the fret ends before installing it.
I wish it had a fender logo on it.

Comments about Mighty Mite MM2930 Stratocaster Replacement Neck with an Ebony Fingerboard and Jumbo Frets:

Ebony fingerboard is very solid and smooth, feels like maple kind of. Looks great, very dark black. You have to drill holes for Fender tuning machines and neck screws. Not too difficult to install, I would recommend for sure.

Comments about Mighty Mite MM2930 Stratocaster Replacement Neck with an Ebony Fingerboard and Jumbo Frets:

I bought this for use on a project guitar that started life as a Starcaster. The maple neck appears to be of high quality wood with no ugly knots. The finish is very smooth and fast playing but is definitely thin and has the potential to wear down quickly. The ebony fretboard is the best part; it's a very consistent dark brown and extremely dense, smooth, and hard as a rock. The frets are jumbo and polished nicely but the ends are sharp and require some attention. The truss rod required tightening but works fine. The pre-drilled tuner holes fit American standard tuning machines fine.

Overall it's a good value, the price is a big part of my 4 star rating; if this product cost as much as most replacement necks it would be a 2 or 3. It's 100 times better than the standard Starcaster neck!

          • Neck Is 1-58 Not 1-116
          • Profile Too Thin For Me

Comments about Mighty Mite MM2930 Stratocaster Replacement Neck with an Ebony Fingerboard and Jumbo Frets:

I sent this back as the profile was too thin for my taste. I ordered a Tele neck that ws perfect. Nice and thick. Not sure if this is a quality control issue or if this neck is supposed to be thin? has a little thinner profile than an American Standard Strat. Tuner holes are 11mm so stock fender american tuners will work ok, but vintage tuners will require 10.5mm bushings plus the holes will need to be built up (reduced) with epoxy or plugged then re-drilled.

Comments about Mighty Mite MM2930 Stratocaster Replacement Neck with an Ebony Fingerboard and Jumbo Frets:

Great replacement neck. Straight, level frets, unform ebony.
I had to sand about 1/64th off the heal to fit, and the frets will need a crown and polish. Seems that MMite left the measurments a little "proud" for a great custom fit!
If I had to pick a "con" it would be the cheepo side dots and white pearloid fret markers...again, easy to customize with MOP 2mm dots, and 6mm fret markers. I will buy more, and have recommended to friends.
