OVERVIEW

A unique take on guitar cases that actually loads from the top!

The MONO Vertigo Semi-hollow guitar case is designed to accommodate the way many guitarists often reach for their guitars when in a rush: out of the side of a partially unzipped case while standing up. MONO has done something to address this operation with the Vertigo. Not only does it load from the top, it also gives your guitar maximum protection too. On the bottom, there's an EVA insole and a molded-rubber outsole (The Boot). It also features MONO's Headlock neck-suspension system.

FEATURES
Top-loading for easy stand-up guitar insertion and removal
EVA insole and a molded-rubber outsole (The Boot) takes guitar protection to a new level
Headlock neck-suspension system - no strapping, buckling, or belting required
Specialized storage compartments put your gear right where you need it
Water-resistant sharkskin outer shell

Take it from the top, literally. Order this case today.

Comments about MONO Vertigo Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar Case:

This seems like a great soft case. the neck support is brilliant. The only problem is my Gretsch with a bigsby doesn't really fit without the case itself pushing the bigsby down. Even flipped all the way back the vibrato arm is a bit too much. I'm sure a hard tail would fit like a dream. It also messes with all the knobs and pickup selector. The main design flaw for me is that the case doesn't open more. The enclosure is also staggered, opening more on one side and less on the other. If it opened all the way to the boot it might work for me. It can stand decently on the boot but I wouldn't trust it to stay too long. I have a saddle strap on it as well which just adds to my problem with this case. So I'll have to trade it or get a hard tail or something.

Good for 335's, but not anything wider

Comments about MONO Vertigo Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar Case:

I have a Mono double, and I would highly recommend Mono bags in general, but not this one.I went with this as a necessity for both by Gretsch's and Gibson 335's. I can force the Gretsch into this, but it's as tight a squeeze as you can imagine, and with the bigsby, almost makes the whole apparatus look out-of-whack once the guitar is seated. I don't think it's hurting anything, but I'll be sticking to just the 335 for this bag. I don't think I would buy this bag again for simply one guitar, but I generally love everything else about Mono bags, so I'll keep it.

Comments about MONO Vertigo Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar Case:

After having a custom jazz guitar built, I wanted a case that was easy to transport, yet afforded good protection. The case that came with the guitar was heavy and difficult to strap to my dolly, so I found this as an alternative. Although expensive, it is probably the best gig bag available for my needs.

                • Carrying Gear To Gigs

Comments about MONO Vertigo Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar Case:

This is my second Mono Gig Bag. I also have a M80 for acoustic.

I looked at every bag in the hybrid case category. Mono's attention to details are second to none. Details such as a the hard grip/boot on the bottom. The rubber like trim to keep the bag from sliding. A large compartment that can carry a multi-fx like a Digitecch RP360XP. In fact, in the Vertigo, I carry this and a LR Baggs PARA DI, the 3 button switch for the Digitech, cables, and power supplies. And, it fits very easily; not jammed or stuffed.

The Mono holds the guitar snuggly in place, but allows easy removal while the case is upright which is something I began doing with my M80 although not designed that way.

I have as much or more confidence in this bag's protection as any OEM hard case. If you carry your guitar and gear frequently, this bag is well worth the money.
