These are basically the cheapest possible 1/4 cords anyone could possibly manufacture and sell. They are also (so far) reliable and clean sounding, which I didnt expect at this price. Worst case scenario I spent about 60 cents per jack and have to resolder them to better cables after they break. So far Ive had no problems at all. Ive noticed no hiss, interference, blips in connection, etc. I havent had them long, so no word on longevity. My only complaints: -maybe less colors per batch, 2-3 different colors would be much easier to colorcode my chains. Im going to buy 3 more packs for my experimental rig, then I'll have 4 of each color. -more options for length. 17' is a little too long for my guitar fx and left me with some slack. I gave them 2.5 on features because they dont have unscrewable 1/4 jacks, but thats not a complaint because theyd be a lot more expensive if they did that.

I bought the right angle version. These cables look and feel good. When they work, they sound good. For some applications they are fine, but it depends on your gear. Depending on the jack in a particular piece of equipment, it may or may not work. In some jacks, the plugs do not make good contact and are intermittent if they are rotated. This has nothing to do with the wiring. It has to do with the way the plug seats in the jack due to the shape of the tip of the plug and the length before it hits the stop. The shape of the metal part of the plug itself is slightly different than every other cable I have and the tip does not make good contact with the jacks in musical equipment because the shape of the tip deflects the plug to the wrong depth inside the jack, either too far or too short and rotating the plug just slightly will cause the signal to cut out. This happens with every end of all 8 cables and can be verified with a cable tester (rotate the plug and it shows the signal is intermittent). I was able to force the plug to work properly by shimming the end of the cable so that the plug just barely can't seat all the way and it works fine then, but I really shouldn't have to shim a cable to make it work. Even the cheapest, worst quality junk cable I own doesn't have this problem. Only these, and again, it's every plug on every cable. Due to the item being so inexpensive, it was not even worth returning it. I would recommend spending a little more money and getting anything else. It's not worth hours of your time dealing with a problem like this the way I did just to save a few dollars.

Comments about Musician's Gear 1/4 - 1/4 Patch Cable 8-Pack (17"):
These work fine. No issues with fit, or noise. I needed the 90* plugs for a pedal board setup. These were exactly what I was looking for. No need for the higher priced options. You can pay more, but it is not necessary.

Comments about Musician's Gear 1/4 - 1/4 Patch Cable 8-Pack (17"):
I was a little worried that for the money these were going to hum or give me static noise. But they sound fine. The only bad thing is they have a rough tip fitting it gets stuck in my zoom recorder that has pretty tight fittings to start with. So I dont use it for that anymore. But between pedals or anywhere you need a short cord, there fine..thanks. I play a strat through a Marshall with pedals in between, comp, delay, reverb, wah, over drive, equalizer, wireless system.
Pros
- Exceptional Price
- Fast delivery
- Good Quality
Cons
- None - I Would Buy Again
Best Uses

Comments about Musician's Gear 1/4 - 1/4 Patch Cable 8-Pack (17"):
Like I said, it doesn't insert all the way into the DD3X, it does however still work. I rated 4 stars since they are cheap and work, but not 5 because how hard can it be to create a cable that works properly?
The cable end looks exactly like other cable ends that do fit properly, so I'm not sure why on earth it doesn't fit. I'd buy them again for the price though!

No dead cables in my pack. Work great, no crackles no pops.
Comments about Musician's Gear 1/4 - 1/4 Patch Cable 8-Pack (17"):
I'm using them right now in my up-and-coming studio to connect effects pedals for bass and guitar, and there hasn't been any buzzing or connection problems. If you need cheap patch cables that work, go with these. Probably not gig proof, but good for studio work.
The colors are useful, since finding black patch cables in a giant jumble of black cables can be hard, the colors help.
Not the strongest cables ever. Quite flimsy cables, not metal protected at the ends, but they connect. I'm being careful with them and they haven't broken yet.
Pretty much a steal
Comments about Musician's Gear 1/4 - 1/4 Patch Cable 8-Pack (17"):
I have had these cords for a year or so. Some of died, some still work. Overall they have worked pretty well for me, but if you only have 3 or 4 pedals I would recommend buying some higher quality cables that will last.

Just got these a few weeks ago and I'm definitely satisfied. Running these with a Midi pedal switcher. Don't sound bad at all. Color coding is a nice feature.
