OVERVIEW

The perfect strap for your super banjo.

The unique internal control-stretch system used in this strap offers weight reduction comfort unmatched by any other strap. It effectively disperses the weight while absorbing the shock of your movements. The Super Banjo Strap uses strong side-release buckles which join secure loop connectors to the main body of the strap. You merely thread the loops through the brackets, pass the side-release buckles through the opening and reattach to the main strap. This creates a secure hold which is a snap to attach!
Adjusts from 48"-56". 2-3/4" to 3-1/2"W.

FEATURES

It's the ideal strap for the leaping and dancing banjo player. Order today.

There's nothing dead solid perfect. That's why there's no 10s in this review. However, this strap, a tool to assist holding the banjo while being played, performs in a very superior manner, based on my experience of use and opinion. .
It's quiet and comfortable. Metal clips on tension hooks sounds to me like someone draging their fingernails across a chaulk board. The clips and attachment straps on the NeoTech don't make any noixe, except the "click" as the fastener attaches. The width of the strap across the shoulders is such that the weight is distributed evenly. You'll get tired, playing a six hour dance, but your shoulders won't hurt. Sitting around jamming, the strap allows you to keep your concentration on the tune and not how badly that strap is cutting into your shoulder and back.
Synthetic materials are stitched securily. Leather was slightly dried out, but a little neetsfoot oil applied very sparingly, cured that. Smells good too. But keep the leather section that you have treated away from the banjo and case until the leather has soaked up all the oil. I separate mine for a week. I sweat a lot when I play. Usually it's hot in the little corners where the band is situated. I'll soak a leather strap during a session. In the south, in the summer, jamming or performing outside for any extended period is going to get your strap sweaty. The synthetic material in the padded strap won't soak up moisture like some natural materials.
Considerably less expensive than some more "showy" straps, it's mesage is serious and professional.

Excellent Banjo Strap

Comments about Neotech Super Banjo Strap:

Highly recommended banjo strap.
Nylon webbing and the neoprene pad make this a very light strap but not so flexible as to be flimsy: the neoprene pad is stable, does not curl and does not deform. 'My' only issue with this strap is with regard to adjustiblity. I'm a short guy (no warts though). And, I need a strap that will attach to the upper j-hooks and allow the upper rim of the resonator to be right at my sternum. In order for this strap to accommodate that position I had to max out the buckle slide and half-hitch the loop connectors to J-hooks south of the neck heel and south of the tail piece. It works OK like that but the banjo is a bit tippy, (perhaps more a result of furniture disease, i.e. chest sinking to the drawers).
MADE IN THE U.S.A 100% (by OP/TECH USA). Very impressed with the quality of this. Stitching at stress-points is VERY secure and perfectly done. The latches are stiff and take a little getting used to: small fingers would work better but there's no problem with a secure latch on these.
The only issue preventing this product from being an excellent value is adjustibility. This is likely more 'my' issue and likely won't affect 99% of buyers. And it would've been impossible for neotech to design this for every stature.

Very Handy Strap

Comments about Neotech Super Banjo Strap:

I do have problems getting the strap loose using the quick release (probably an indication I am getting older) but that also shows me it is not going to slip free on me during a performance. It does not seem to even be there when you are playing.
I really like to be able to quickly remove ths strap and put it in the case. It is sturdy and comforable to wear. I remove my strap and store it next to the neck in the Banjo case.
Strap seems very sturdy. If you need a good strap, try this one. I do not believe you will regret your choice.
Cost was very reasonable for what you get.

Comments about Neotech Super Banjo Strap:

I use the Neotech strap on a Gold Tone longneck. The banjo is fairly heavy for an openback, and the long neck makes it a little hard to balance either sitting or standing. This strap solves those problems! It's very comfortable and it keeps the banjo at the proper angle. If Pete Seeger had one he wouldn't have had to put that eye-bolt in his banjo neck!

Makes a heavey banjo comfortable. Works great. I had no issues with the length as others have complained about and I'm about average size, 5'10 and 150lbs. Just followed the instructions. Love it.

This is a good strap that wont break the bank. The attachments are loop thru the hooks style. Not bad.
The neoprene stretchy part is very comfortable. I am using this on a light weight banjo, Specifically a Deering
Goodtime, which has no Tone ring. Not sure how well it would work on a Heavy Mastertone style banjo.

Comments about Neotech Super Banjo Strap:

This is the only strap I would buy and own. I like that it is easily detachable and balances the pressure over the entire strap instead of concentrating the weight of the banjo on your collar bone/shoulder. I have one for each instrument although if you buy ends, you can use the same strap on all.
