The perfect strap for your super banjo.

The unique internal control-stretch system used in this strap offers weight reduction comfort unmatched by any other strap. It effectively disperses the weight while absorbing the shock of your movements. The Super Banjo Strap uses strong side-release buckles which join secure loop connectors to the main body of the strap. You merely thread the loops through the brackets, pass the side-release buckles through the opening and reattach to the main strap. This creates a secure hold which is a snap to attach!
      Adjusts from 48"-56". 2-3/4" to 3-1/2"W.

      Features

It's the ideal strap for the leaping and dancing banjo player. Order today.

There's nothing dead solid perfect. That's why there's no 10s in this review. However, this strap, a tool to assist holding the banjo while being played, performs in a very superior manner, based on my experience of use and opinion. .
It's quiet and comfortable. Metal clips on tension hooks sounds to me like someone draging their fingernails across a chaulk board. The clips and attachment straps on the NeoTech don't make any noixe, except the "click" as the fastener attaches. The width of the strap across the shoulders is such that the weight is distributed evenly. You'll get tired, playing a six hour dance, but your shoulders won't hurt. Sitting around jamming, the strap allows you to keep your concentration on the tune and not how badly that strap is cutting into your shoulder and back.
Synthetic materials are stitched securily. Leather was slightly dried out, but a little neetsfoot oil applied very sparingly, cured that. Smells good too. But keep the leather section that you have treated away from the banjo and case until the leather has soaked up all the oil. I separate mine for a week. I sweat a lot when I play. Usually it's hot in the little corners where the band is situated. I'll soak a leather strap during a session. In the south, in the summer, jamming or performing outside for any extended period is going to get your strap sweaty. The synthetic material in the padded strap won't soak up moisture like some natural materials.
Considerably less expensive than some more "showy" straps, it's mesage is serious and professional.

Comments about Neotech Super Banjo Strap:

Easy to use, quick disconnects allow easy storage with it removed from the banjo. With leather straps you have to tuck them in around the resonator or lay across the front of the banjo which causes additional stress inside the case. Wide enough to distribute the weight comfortably. If you have a top heavy banjo (as in D-tuners), yes the peg head will tend to drop but it will do that due to the extra weight of the D tuners and the clip on digital tuners and is not the fault of the strap. Just ordered my 4th one.

Comments about Neotech Super Banjo Strap:

very comfortable strap, holds the banjo in place. Lots of adjustment if needed. You need to experiment a little to find the right placement of the connecting loops to find the right balance point for your instrument. The quick-connections hold exceptionally well so you do not have to worry about dropping your banjo (as good or better than strap locks). It rolls up easily to be placed in your case if needed. Best strap I have used for a banjo.

Comments about Neotech Super Banjo Strap:

Was a little skeptical when I first got it, have tried about every strap know to man, with a bad back, a 16# banjo is a challenge but I like the way it stretched, the width of the shoulder strap, the easy attachment feature, the quick detachment and reattachment buckles, well made, it grows on you.

Comments about Neotech Super Banjo Strap:

The best strap I have tried and I have used them all, nylon, leather, cradle, clip on, lace on, double straps, you name it. I did not like it at first but it grows on you. I play an Earl Standard so it's about as heavy as a banjo gets and with a bad back, it has been a challenge but I think I have finally found the strap to stick with, we will see.

Comments about Neotech Super Banjo Strap:

I use this with a 17-fret tenor banjo, and although it works fine, I'd prefer a slightly shorter strap to create less distance between my shoulder and the instrument. As it is, I've taken all of the available slack out of the strap and it still feels a bit low -- not Keith Richards/Jimmy Page, but lower than the in-your-lap George Harrison/John Lennon level that feels most comfortable to me.
