i like this stand because it holds my guitar securely. it is a little awkward to put the guitar in with one hand, as you have to push down on the lever that secures it in place. you also have to be careful not to snag the strings.
On the second day of using this with my guitar, i noticed a slight discoloration on the back of the neck, right where it rests against the stand. i immediately put a piece of white cloth behind the neck to protect it. i caught it early so it is barely noticeable. im not sure if it has to do with the type of finish that i put on the neck, but my other stands do not do this. if you are set on buying this. i suggest that you keep a lookout for discoloration, or just put some cloth on it right away.

Would have rated it higher but the one I received had a riveted bolt ( holds the hinge pin and spring) that was bent and the rivet side was not hammered down enough so the flip rod ends up an inch and half lower than the neck yoke. Could not stand seeing that everyday so I hammered the rivet down myself and got it to allign closer but scratched the finish in the process and had to do some touch up.
Strong and stable stand as advertised.
Few scratches on the finish but hard to notice. May have been from shpping. The flip lever did not align with the fixed yoke

Not much else I can say about it other than it does what it's supposed to and at a great price.
The design of this stand allows me to keep my Michael Angelo Batio string dampener fastened to the headstock when the guitar is not being used. Additionally, it fits my BC Rich Warlock rather nicely.

This Stand is really Solid being made of Sheet metal as oppossed to Die-Cast and i have No problem with the Back Leg being too Short as Stated in previous Reviews.it does as says and gives it better balance.I Picked this Stand because of the good experience i had with the Pro-Flip-it A-Frame and i thought it would be wise to stick to the same brand. And Im glad i did!!! Because the Quality/Design is Great and its well balanced.Plus they even improved the Design,because in my Review of the Pro-Flip-it A-Frame, i suggested adding a rubber cap on the back of the Flip-It latch to prevent it from hitting the Back of the Neck,in case you lifted it too much and low and behold, theres now a rubber cap !!! GREAT STAND and EXCELLENT RESPONSE TO CUSTOMER FEEDBACK, THIS IS MY NEW BRAND AND I RECOMMEND THIS AS A MUST BUY !!!

I've used Flip-It stands for at least 4 years. Today's version with velveteen padding won't damage your finish and the "D" shaped neck yoke works better than the original round yoke. While other stands named after the mythological strongman seem sturdy, the idea of my guitar suspended in mid-air by a plastic mechanical contraption clutching only the headstock makes me nervous! I need a body cradle. The only negative is that folded Flip-It tripod stands are still bulky, but I don't mind. For 100% safety & speedy access in daily use I trust my Flip-It stands.

I like the stand, but it slightly discolored the neck on my fender strat (there is now a line on the back of the neck where the upper foam padding contacts the guitar- it looks faded) Other than the discoloration of my guitar, the stand is very sturdy
