I own a pair of these and love them! These are great little add-on booms! They will clamp onto just about any mic stand. I have even used them clamped to a desk hutch in a pinch.These are great for setting up stereo mic configurations. Also work well for multiple mic's when you only have one stand. One bit of caution here though. If you do use these on a standard boom type mic stand, be sure you have sufficient counterweight on the opposite end of the main boom. It can get a bit tippy otherwise.The locking mechanism is more than adequate for just about anything you would put on these booms. They have standard 5/8" mic thread, so nearly any standard mic mount will work, including most shock mounts.These will be used in regular service in my studio for many years. So glad I found these! Worth every penny. Again, how did I get by before I got these???

I am really happy with this purchase. Great price. It's really sturdy, a good length and well made. It comes with a mic clip and an adaptor. The mic clip is really basic and would probably be fine but I replaced it with one I had that seemed to secure my mic better. Highly recommend

I purchased this side mount boom to hold small condenser mics on the same stands as our vocal mics to reduce the amount of equipment on stage. It works beautifully. It is strong and it's position is quite adjustable. It is relatively short, but I got around that by repositioning the other boom. I also purchased the gooseneck extender, but did not need to use it. Overall, a great purchase at a reasonable price.

Locks this baby in place, no movement Period! You can add,4"or 6" extensions to the arm, and it's all good.

This is just what I needed!!! clamp to mic stand does'nt mar, solid lock. The 6" locking arm is also "rock solid" no un-needed/unwanted slipping to another position. You can add in other extensions to the arm if needed, IT'S ALL GOOD!!!.... nuff said!!!

Nonslip gear, nonslip clamp mic lock nut - these are awesome!!!!!! I have at least 5 o them on my drum kit. They don't slip; they don't transfer vibrational noise thru to the microphones and with a little creativity you can create a rack with them for mounting other accessories like your cow bell and wood block Can't beat the price. A competitor doesn't even carry these but they offer a combination of 2 different assemblies that you cancombine to get the same basic result from but one of the assemblies is twice the price of these They also clear up tons of mic stand clutter abused by the stand sthemselves and the boom assemblies counterweight Is great I can now jump up in the riser and not get kidney punched by the stands

This thing is perfect for what I've been looking for. I've paired it with an iKlip and attached this little boom to my keyboard stand. I use my iPad as a sound bank and drum pad, and this provides the perfect secure way to attach it while still being able to easily access the screen!!!!

I just recieved mine. I like it. I would give it a perfect score if they had one with a boom extension, but it will work for me.I'll use them to clamp on my cymbal stands to mic my drums/cymbals. You could clamp it on your snare stand underneath your snare to capture the bottom head. Again, a boom extension would allow you to place the mic right where you want it.Good product and built pretty tough.
