OVERVIEW

Get your combo amp off the floor for better monitoring, sound projection, and access to controls.

If your knees had ears, then maybe you'd be able to hear yourself play with your combo amp sitting on the floor. But that's not the only reason you need an On-Stage Pro Tiltback Amplifier Stand. With your combo amp up off the floor and angled towards your ear, not only can you hear yourself without having to constantly turn up and increase stage noise, your amp also has better projection to the audience. You also gain easy access to your controls. No more bending over and mooning the audience while you make adjustments. One more benefit; nobody accidentally kicks in your grill cloth or guitar speaker on a crowded stage.

The strength and versatility of this stand comes from the double clutch disk that allows you to remove and rotate the support arm assembly. The solid steel double stamped 3" disk allows for a secure locking position every time! The A-Frame base with 1" square tubing construction will adjust its floor spread in order for you to get the most support under your amp. Ridged end caps keep all metal surfaces off of the ground and act as a shock absorber.

FEATURES
  • Applications: stage/studio amplifiers and monitors.
  • Weight capacity: 90 lb
  • Depth: 11"
  • Base spread: 17"
  • Construction: all-steel

Isn't about time you actually heard yourself on stage? Order a Pro Tiltback amp stand before your next gig.

It may sound like hyperbole or exaggeration, but I mean it when I say that this amp stand is the greatest product on the face of God's green earth. The quality, reliability, and value present in this fine offering have not been matched in my lifetime and likely will never again be matched. My Deluxe Reverb has never sounded better, now that it is facing my ears and not the back of my legs sitting on some dopey chair. If you're using a chair for a stand, quit being an idiot and buy this pinnacle of human achievment today. You and your family will not regret it.
There is literally nothing more you could ask for in an amp stand. This is an amazing product. I got this because I was tired of putting my Deluxe Reverb on some ratty piece of garbage chair and looking like a huge jerk at practice and at gigs. "Here comes ol' amp-on-chair", they'd all sneer. After hearing this for the umpteenth time I decided that enough was enough and ordered this amp stand. It folds up to a convenient size for transport, and you can set the height and angle of your amp very easily. Nice big dials to turn and lock in your desired position. It's an awesome black color that looks great on stage, I grew slightly tumescent when I saw it for the first time.
Unlike the sinister, execrable chair, this stand is rock-solid. That Deluxe Reverb isn't going anywhere. This thing feels like it was made from steel forged in the cauldron of Superman's balls. Everything is well put together and I can imagine this thing lasting a lot longer than I do. Yes, when my withered corpse lies rotting in a moldy grave, worms crawling in and out of my crumbling eye sockets, long after my children's children have themselves grown old and passed and I am but a footnote to the history of mankind, this amp stand will probably still be holding up that Deluxe Reverb.
This amp stand is worth at least twenty times what I paid for it. I've seen other, less expensive amp stands, but I imagine anything else you could buy for this price or less would collapse like a Greek economy and destroy whatever precious amp you had entrusted into its feeble arms. An amp stand of this quality and panache will only appreciate in value as the years roll by. It's rare that one uses the term "heirloom quality" when discussing amplifier stands, but believe me, the term fully applies here. This amp stand may well be what puts my grandson through college. Buy with confidence knowing that you can't possibly get a better amp stand for any amount of money.

This would be a great choice for a closed back combo, and is fairly easy to set up. It also makes it easier to reach your amp while your playing, and there are definite tone benefits. But it doesn't provide adequate support for an open-back combo amp unless you don't want to tilt it backwards. Also, the plastic end caps slide off very easily. The exposed metal isn't Tolex-friendly. But if you have a closed-back cabinet or combo amp, or don't want to angle you amp backwards, this might be perfect for you. Just be sure you glue the end caps in place.

Comments about On-Stage Stands Pro Tiltback Amp Stand:

I dislike the On Stage Stands very much, The quality is poor and they are cheap. When I received this stand, when fully opened it is crooked. The top was twisted from the base. It didn't surprise me because I know their reputation. But this is the type of stand I am looking for. I had to return the first one and order a second one. The second one arrived a bit better, but still not square and 100% correct.

Comments about On-Stage Stands Pro Tiltback Amp Stand:

It holds my Fender Deluxe Reverb securely. I put my amp on it and feel like it's not going anywhere...provided no one bumps into it real hard, but since it pretty much lives in my studio, I don't worry about it. I would feel good with it on stage if I ever play out again.

Great overall amp stand. Takes a couple minutes to get the idea on how to set it up. Placing a short width combo with rubber feet might require adjustment of the feet. Otherwise, no problem stand.

Comments about On-Stage Stands Pro Tiltback Amp Stand:

This stand works so great I now own 6 of them. Many uses: hold small guitar amps on stage, lift monitor wedges off the ground so they are closer to the singer/musician, hold variety of gear in home studio. (This is a very versatile stand - don't think of it only as an amp stand.) The metal frame is better than other amps stands on the market. Some 2x12 amps may be too heavy, but there are plenty of killer guitar amps that are not heavy. Works great if you mike your amps. You can point the amps back at the guitar player to keep stage noise down. Also works great for "monitor" amps. For example, you can put a small amp on the stand for an acoustic guitar player that needs to hear himself. Send the direct box main feed direct to the main board but send the other direct box out to an amp on this stand. Allows the guitar player to hear himself without sending things into the stage monitor mix. Adjusts very nicely. Get the angle you want. Get the Pro model, which is this model. It has the best adjustment design. This is built well. If you plan to set up and tear down every night, it might wear out. If you have a steady gig where you can leave it set up, it will last forever. It folds up nicely, but the fewer times you have to take it down and set it up, the longer it will last. You might consider leaving it in the "set up" position and transporting it that way if you have room and are careful with your equipment. Much better than other stands on the market. It can hold small amps the other stands cannot hold. Again, you want this model (the Pro model).

Comments about On-Stage Stands Pro Tiltback Amp Stand:

I was a little leery at first, but picked this stand because it appeared to allow angle adjustment which others do not. It does in spades. The mechanism has large sturdy looking teeth that allow you to loosen a knob and change the angle of the stand. I love it. You can throw your tone over the first row easily and it sits high enough that you aren't having to bend over all the time to change or view your amp settings. The legs up the back of the amp could be a problem on some amps I suppose, but it would be so easy to modify them if needed that it is a non issue really. 5 stars easily. I will buy another one or two for some of my other amps as well.

Comments about On-Stage Stands Pro Tiltback Amp Stand:

I've had this stand for about 6 months and play every week-end. The stand is well made and does a good job of supporting my open backed 60 watt amp. Overall, I would recommend this product. On the minor issue side, it folds up, but is somewhat bulky. Also, I've had the rubber feet fall off a number of times.
