Did not know if these would be sturdy, but I was pleased when they arrived. Very stable and easy to set up. One of the highest adjustable, if you need the extra inches.

These speaker stands are great for holding my Kustom 15" two way speakers. Really like the reversible main shaft the stand comes with. Which has a different size at each end of the main shaft. For the speaker mounting hole on the speaker. Plus these stands are great for the LED stage lights. That doesn't come with a tripod stand.

In addition to being a professional musician, I also conduct several ensembles. I also create iPhone apps for musicians. When I attend conferences, I can put my speaker up and off the table with no fear that someone is going to brush against it, cause it to fall and possibly injure someone.

Speaker tripod stand accommodates two most common speaker stand sockets - 1-3/8" or 1-1/2". All-aluminum construction minimizes weight. My favorite stand. I wish MF sold this stand in pairs with a bag.

Very good stands. Well made overall. I did find that the nuts on the locking knobs can get loose and fall out at times so be aware of this and watch them closely.

I wanted something inexpensive to get my PR-12 speakers off of the floor. These were cheap and perfect. They have a pin to lock the upper shaft in place and pins don't fail! So, this is a winner. Oh yeah, they are pretty light weight too.
