I purchased 2- 500k's. one metered at 465 the other was 473.
Disappointing, However. I did install them in my LP custom.. I am impressed. very smooth turning and to push/pull. They fit the holes fine.
I also installed 2SD/split coil's. What a difference in sound combinations!!There is not a sound, I cannot get now!.
If I hadn't metered them myself, I most likely would not have been able to tell they weren't true 500k. They appeared professional and proper(in the package).they are made in Korea. I AM HAPPY WITH THEM AND THE QUALITY.
I did a great deal of reading and comparing for the best potentiometer. I wanted and purchased 2 500k Gibson's. Glad I did NOT put them in! They are POOR quality. I metered them 248/246 and these were suppose to be 500's. I expected more from Gibson and their support who will try to BS you.

I would recommend these and believe you would be very satisfied installing in you pride and joy, I am..

When it comes to pull pots there are not a bunch of choices, this pot is one of those choices and while being of typical quality versus the other brands they are a bit pricy by comparison. This entire design of this pull pot suffers from hidden and fatal flaws common to all but the most expensive types, the main failing is the weak plastic shaft retainer inside the pot/switch. Pull just a bit too hard on the pull pot and it will rip completely apart and this don't take superhuman or gorilla type strength. The unfortunate aspect of this is that you can't just snap it back together again hoping all will be well. Kind of cheap, kind of flimsy, just what I have come to expect in a world of touch, gesture and voice as the main methods of device control.

Comments about Proline 500K Push/Pull Potentiometer:

This was my first time soldering new pots in a guitar, and these worked good for me.

Used a pair of these to replace the tone pots in my epiphone les paul standard. The push/pull switches between various pickup configurations on a set of P-Rails.

The terminals were clean, and the outside case easily held solder for grounding components. The terminals for the switch are close together, but they aren't any different than any other push pull pot.

The only thing I didn't like, the posts are just a little longer than I would have liked for my guitar. They end up sticking out of the body more than the stock pots on my guitar. However, no one would notice just by looking at it while I'm playing.

Comments about Proline 500K Push/Pull Potentiometer:

Easy install with a quick look-up at Seymour Duncan for a coil tap wiring scheme (the product comes with no documentation at all). It provides the functionality it advertises, has a quiet operation, and the tip fit my Gibson Les Paul knobs with no issues. I do have two beefs with it, though. The first is that the shaft is quite narrow and the washer and nut included BARELY keep it locked in place. The second complaint is the loose knob rotation. When you push/pull, I find that the knob easily rotates and you will change your tone or volume position at the same time. It works fine, but I will look for a different product next time.
