Comments about ProLine F-Style Graphite Slotted Nut:

I recently bought an old and very beat up stratocaster style guitar, with the intention of setting it up properly and putting different pickups in it to make it sound like a true strat. When I took the original strings off the guitar, I found that the nut on it was in three separate pieces! So I ordered this as an inexpensive replacement.

The nut was the perfect length, but was too wide to fit. Since it is hollow (my only real complaint about it), I didn't want to file the nut thinner for fear of it breaking in the process, or being too weak and breaking under the pressure of the strings. So I had to widen the slot on the guitar's fretboard which was quite nerve-racking because if you make it too wide, you're in a bad way. I also had to file the slots on the nut to be lower as well, but that was no big deal.

Nothing too special about it, but nothing necessarily wrong with it either, other than that it should be solid. For the price, it's a decent nut. It gets the job done and the guitar I used it on plays and sounds great.
