Comments about ProLine FRMS1 Mandolin/Uke Stand:
Bought this to have my uke out where I can just grab it and play. Seems well made. No alignment problems. Folds up compactly, but no bag included.
A bit large for a soprano uke, but fine for a concert or tenor. The neck adjusts for different size instruments, but the support bar doesn't. Long legs make it stable.
The stand doesn't 'cradle' the bottom of the instrument like a guitar stand. Instead, a bar holds the back of the instrument out away from the stand and the instrument is supported by the neck, like those wall hanger thingies. This may be an issue if you have marauding pets.
Overall, I'm pleased with it, and may be buying another.

Comments about ProLine FRMS1 Mandolin/Uke Stand:
I bought two of these when they went on sale and I am really happy with them. I was looking for a sturdy inexpensive stand that I could put my ukulele and mandolin in my "man cave" with my other guitars. None of the instruments I wanted to use stands for are very expensive, so I didn't want to spend as half as much on a stand as I did on my ukulele. Even if I had more expensive instruments I would feel comfortable using these stands. They are sturdy, adjustable and work great.

Comments about ProLine FRMS1 Mandolin/Uke Stand:
This stand works adequately for holding a ukulele. The bottom part that in most stands cradles the instrument is just a short padded bar that the intrument rests on so it is not quite as stable or solid as I would prefer especially for an expensive instrument. It works and it's reasonably priced but I probably would not buy another one.
Comments about ProLine FRMS1 Mandolin/Uke Stand:
This stand does what it should. It works great and I am gald to have it.
This stand has an adjustable neck which makes it great for any sized ukulele or mandolin.
Comments about ProLine FRMS1 Mandolin/Uke Stand:
There is no easy way to fix it. I'll have to return it but there is no guarantee another one will not be the same way. In my opinion, it suffers from poor quality control at the factory.
It has what is necessary to support a mandolin.
The only problem I have with this stand? It stands crooked, the upper pole is misaligned making the "fork" turn away from the midline of the stand.
If properly aligned, t would have been given 5 stars not 3.
Comments about ProLine FRMS1 Mandolin/Uke Stand:
I recieved the FRMS1 mandolin stand and, upon trying it, was impressed with it's simplicity and functionality. It is made of steel tubing that is finished a nice satiny black. I unfolded the legs and they are just tight enough to hold thier position. What is normally the neck rest on a standard guitar stand top center post is a hanger on this stand. How cool is that? The hanger is nicely padded with padded rings to hold the neck securely. There is a small T shaped rest that folds out from the bottom half center post that is well padded and keeps the instrument from hitting the center post. All in all a very simple and functional design that does it's job very well. I am very pleased with this product and the price, as usual with Musician's Friend, was less than one would pay expect for this quality
Having the instrument hang is definitely a plus.
It's not bullet proof stainless but it's well made and well worth the money.
.You can't beat it for the price!
