I've had mine for around 3 years with heavy gigging under their belts. The quality and sturdyness is amazing and they won't give way to my 15" heavy duty speakers. They are all scratched up and the black finish is turning into the grey marks but hey, they've been used alot and it was bound to happen.

The adjustor know did break on mine and I did loose the locking pins. Here is my advice to those who have had this happen or those that will see it in the future. **Go to a local hardware store and find screws and nuts to fix them yourself** It's a very easy and cheap (under $8) fix. get a wingnut screw and nut for the adjustor and use a heavy duty metal pin that's the right size for the locking pin. You will get many more years of use through them and save yourself the headache of customer service. Mine have worked for many years and will continue to do so. In fact I'm ordering the same stands because I'm adding more speakers.

One of the legs snapped off where the three legs meet on the pole. That part is made of plastic. I emailed the company hoping to get or buy just that part to rebuild the stand, however, they do not sell individual parts for the stands. The only good part of this is that they responded to my email.

    GREAT VALUE!

    By Zack Manes

    from Grass Valley, CA

Comments about ProLine LST2BK Speaker Stand:

Bottom line is, they are good speaker stands, and for a nice price, thats all i could ask for. Pro line Stands get the job done!
These speaker stands have great adjustability, and they are very stable. The clamps on them work fine you just have to be careful with them. The only thing wrong with the features on the stands is that, the clamps dont keep the base in place when you are transporting the stands. However, during a performance or in practice, they are stable and extremely helpful.
The Stands have a surprising amount of quality for the price. I have 2 Mackie Thump speakers, not the heaviest around, but the stands hold them VERY well.
EXTRAORDINARY VALUE! These are some of the cheapest speaker stands out there, yet they have worked the best out of any I've ever used.

Comments about ProLine LST2BK Speaker Stand:

Ive had this stand for a year and many many gigs. Great and sturdy both inside and outdoors. locking pin is great. The adjustment nut did fall out for the base part and its hard to find a nut that fits inside where the original one was so be careful that you don't over-loosen either of these knobs. The durability is great and the best I have used in any speaker stand. This stand will serve you amazing if you are careful with the knobs when loosening.

    Adjustment collar nut problem

    By jazzman-yVxMB

    from Louisiana

Comments about ProLine LST2BK Speaker Stand:

Adjustment collar nuts fall out. Retrieved one but didn't find another one, so one of my stands is no good until I find a replacement nut. Otherwise, stands do a good job supporting speakers, even in outdoor events where there is wind.

Thought the stands were OK. Owned them for 2 years. The adjustment knob broke and I noticed that the adjustment collars were cracked on both stands. Haven't tried customenr support yet.

    Buyer beware! No Support

    By jack520

    from Rockford, IL

Comments about ProLine LST2BK Speaker Stand:

I bought several of these stands. The adjustment collar broke on one. I have sent multiple e-mails and made many phone calls trying to get a replacement part. The company completely ignores all e-mails and phone calls. I advised them that I was going to post this review if I got no response. I got no response. Don't expect any support from this company.

    Careful with the plastic collars

    By nvyblu

    from Denver, CO

Comments about ProLine LST2BK Speaker Stand:

They are great stands and I don't worry about them not holding the 15" cabs - however, you can't torque down on the tightening knobs too much or yes, the plastic collar will snap. Perhaps if I had been more kind to them they'd have lasted longer than 10 gigs. Lesson learned but still a good product and good value.

    Good So Far.........

    By Haze Drummer

    from San Antonio, TX

Comments about ProLine LST2BK Speaker Stand:

I have 2 of these. They're good so far. I have them carrying Yamaha BR15's. Light and portable. The only thing I don't like is the clamps are plastic. I'm very, very careful to BARELY tighten them. On the plus side, they do have a metal pin that really does allow you to do that without any problem or risk of the thing collapsing.
