This Road Runner molded bass case is designed to fit a variety of electric bass guitars of various shapes. It has a non-scratch, thicker pile, plush-lined interior and padded neck brace with 2 accessory compartments—one covered and one open. For extra protection, the molded exterior is extremely roadworthy. The hardshell bass case also has a tongue-and-groove valance, rubber feet, 3 riveted latches—the middle one has a lock & key mechanism—and an offset handle for easier transportation.

It is molded inside better than a lot of cases in this price range. Holds bass very stable because of the way it holds the neck. The instrument is not loose in the case.

My first bass guitar, an Ibanez SR-300, fits in this case perfectly. The velcro strap that fits over the neck is a good addition to keeping it snug. There is room in the case for accessories such as a small tuner and an amp cable, and my strap. I also like the exterior...it has molded ridges that look to function as bumpers to help shield the contents, so I imagine this case would be excellent for road trips. Very sturdy, and the 4 metal clasps seem to be very good quality.
