I've been looking for an inexpensive case or gig bag for my inexpensive acoustic/electric bass for the last few years. Nothing ever fit. Finally, I found a large bass gig bag at a very reasonable price. My bass fits great with a little room to spare which is alright with me. The gig bag is fully padded and provides adequate protection for my instrument.

I bought this bag for my Ibanez AEB10E. The dimensions are good but since the outer nylon is not stiff, the fit is very loose. So loose that I have to tie a string tight around the neck to keep the axe from flooping and turning in the bag. Protection from dings is minimal, since the padding is thin and soft. Not a good bag for transport to gigs. OK for around the house and light visits. For the price, it's OK, better than nothing.

Comments about Rogue Acoustic Bass Gig Bag:

For the price, this bag is great. It is VERY deep and the bass has lots of room to move around so I still need to be pretty careful, but it protects it from scratches.

Great Vaule

By Joshua Richoux

Comments about Rogue Acoustic Bass Gig Bag:

Its not the greatest gig bag but it isn't the worst. I bought it for somebodies first guitar so in that aspect exactly what I wanted.
Its a gig bag and does what its suppose to do but it isn't heavily padded. So if thats what you want this isn't for you.
Its well built and does what its suppose to do.
Can't beat the price.

Ridiculously deep!

By Uke enthusiast

from Chicago, IL

Comments about Rogue Acoustic Bass Gig Bag:

I bought one of these Rogue acoustic bass gigbags at the same time that I bought a Rogue acoustic bass. Seemed logical. This bag is 9" deep. I could stack TWO basses in this bag and still have room left! I returned it and bought a Michael Kelly acoustic bass gigbag which costs more but fits perfectly. As usual, you get what you pay for...

What DOES this fit?

By CSEWuUpnP

Comments about Rogue Acoustic Bass Gig Bag:

This gig bag doesn't even fit the Rogue Acoutstic Bass! The case is about 9" deep and the bass just slides around loosely inside it. This is no where near acceptable.

Big Bag!!

By Jel6string

from Hudson, NH

Comments about Rogue Acoustic Bass Gig Bag:

Good quality bag but it is very big and loose fitting. I guessed it to be a standard size bag for a standard size acoustic bass (like my Oscar Schmidt OB100N) but it is much bigger. I risked it based on the low price and it's better than having nothing at all. If you are looking for a snug fit, inquire about the dimensions.

Beware, this does not fit the Dean 5 string acoustic bass. It is not long enough or wide enough!

For the money...

By markshan

from Pittsburgh, PA

Comments about Rogue Acoustic Bass Gig Bag:

I bought one for my Ibanez AEB 19. It fits it a bit loose but is still quite acceptable. The padding is only abour 3/8" thick, and the bag is nylon inside and out, but for the price it is surprisingly well sewn together, each handle seems quite rugged and it has a generous front pocket for cables, tuner, etc.. A true value and a must if you have no case currently.
