Comments about Rogue P8 Bulk 12 Pack 008 Plain Steel Electric Guitar Strings:
I use these on my twelve string I am always breaking these .08 strings sometimes when I have just restrung it, so rather than rob a fresh set of strings I buy these.08s in bulk.

Comments about Rogue P8 Bulk 12 Pack 008 Plain Steel Electric Guitar Strings:
I have been using Rogue bulk strings now for the past dozen years !!! These .008's are great for the high octave "G" on 12 string guitars, both acoustic/ acoustic electric and electric.
Comments about Rogue P8 Bulk 12 Pack 008 Plain Steel Electric Guitar Strings:
I would advise these strings over all others due to their quality and value.
Rogue makes the world's worst instruments, but their strings are the best quality.
As good as Martin strings at a fraction of the cost. Beats Dean Markley, D'Adderio and others.
Can't beat the price.
Comments about Rogue P8 Bulk 12 Pack 008 Plain Steel Electric Guitar Strings:
I don't think these can be beat at this price. I don't think they could be beat even at double this price.
About 25 years ago, I used small gauge strings. At the time I played an Ibanez Musician, with a long 2 octave neck. When I traded for another Telecaster, I was getting deep into Stevie Ray Vaughan. Since he used BIG strings, I thought I'd go bigger. While I never got up to the gauges he used, I did get up to .010 Thick `n Thins. I played those for a few years, until they pulled the tremolo post on my Strat forward into the body! I scaled back to plain .010's, then .009's, and recently on to .008's.
I recently read an article about Billy Gibbons--he's using .007's! This man has one of the most copied tones in the business. He said B.B. King got him started using small gauge strings. They played a show together, & backstage they swapped guitars for a few songs. B.B. asked Billy why his Les Paul was strung so heavy, & his reply was "because that's what I always read YOU used". B.B. replied that he used to, "back when that was all you could get". He made a believer out of Billy, & he started going smaller, till now he endorses a set of .007's made (I think) by DiAddario.
If you've been using heavy strings, it will take a while for your guitar to adjust to the smaller gauge strings. I know I had to re-tweak my neck 3 different times over a month's time, but it now stays in tune & plays like a dream. I have diabetes, and I'm starting to have some neuropathy and tingling in my fingertips. My fingers, my hands get sore pretty easy these days. Yesterday, I wound up playing for almost 10 hours at a benefit, with no hand pain (although my back & feet were sore today)!
In the long run, it seems they hype about using big strings is just that-hype. Once you get your guitar adjusted to them, and you get used to not over-squeezing when you play (it's easy to bend strings out of tune until you lighten up your touch), there's really no reason I can see for putting the extra strain on me OR my guitar by using large gauge strings. Besides, how wrong can Billy Gibbons be?
These are well built strings No idea who builds them. At this price I can afford to change strings more often.
At this price, i can change strings 3 times as often at the same price I was paying for strings. I don't care what brand you currently play, brand new strings simply sound better. The value is these strings best feature.
