Comments about Rotosound Jumbo King Super Light Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I use these strings on my acoustic guitar that has an action that is higher than I like. It's good sounding guitar and these strings are just right. It makes it easier to play and they sound great on this guitar.

Comments about Rotosound Jumbo King Super Light Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings:

These are great strings though the G is unwound. I ordered a few wound G strings to remedy this. For fingerpicking, these are great, allowing precision where a heavier gauge might allow mistakes more frequently. The tone is nice and bright and the balance is great.

              The good:
The gauge of these strings will allow you to easily perform bar chords. Anyone with less than ideal gripe strength will find these helpful for that purpose
              The bad:
Tone is subjective, so please take this with a grain of salt. The sound leaves something to be desired. I believe the low gauge of these strings results in the sound being a bit thin. I would say it was borderline tinny.
This was my first experience with rotosound strings, and I've used only martin and elixir strings prior. The g string (3rd string) is NOT wrapped, I don't know if this is a property unique to all rotosound strings or because of the low gauge. As I started stringing my guitar, I thought that fact nifty, but then realized my saddle didn't agree with that g string. It seems to be slipping and catching (as a result of lacking that wrapping), and would prove to be problematic if I really dig deep on strums. Luckily the guitar I strung it on was mostly for fingerstyle.
              Overall:
I would only recommend these strings for people who need lighter gauge strings for playability reasons, it's hard to even describe the tone because it sounds so odd to me.

Comments about Rotosound Jumbo King Super Light Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I bought these for my wife who has sensitive fingers. Even though she enjoys her acoustic, she's not a regular player, and these strings have helped her feel more comfortable when she does decide to pick it up.

Comments about Rotosound Jumbo King Super Light Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings:

For years I have been waiting for a string manufacture to do a super light gauge in a phosphor bronze string. For live work I wanted all my guitars (both acoustic and electric) to have the same gauge string and at least a similar feel. Happily these Rotosounds do that. I tried them on my main recording acoustic and while I liked how they felt, I did not like the tone. Compared to the D'Addario's that I normally use they sounded a little thin. But..when I put them on my main live acoustic (an Ovation) I was VERY happy with the results. Bright, balanced and comfortable to play. Exactly what I was looking for. I think these strings will be great for younger students, especially if they have a guitar with less than ideal action.
