Comments about Rotosound RDB66LD Double Ball End Bass Strings:

I've been using Swing Bass 66 Strings for a while now and I have always loved them. Recently I bought a Steinberger Spirit Bass, just for the fun of it. Imagine how happy I was to find that Rotosound made Double Ball End strings for my Steinberger. The factory strings were a little brighter than I prefer. I find that the Rotosounds round the tone out a little more as I was hoping. But, I can still get that signature Steinberger sound out of it when I want. I'm really please with the additional tonal range these strings have given me.
It took a little stretch to get them to fit. And, the lower ball ends do not hide under the bridge plate like the Steinies did, but everything seems to work fine and they sound great! I definitely won't purchase anything else!

Comments about Rotosound RDB66LD Double Ball End Bass Strings:

I bought these for my Steinberger Synapse 4-string bass guitar. The strings are about 1/8" too short even with the string holders adjusted all the way loose. I did stretched them to fit, though. They do sound fantastic! I am concerned the tension may be too much for the neck having to stretch them so much.

Comments about Rotosound RDB66LD Double Ball End Bass Strings:

What a difference these strings have had on my Hohner B2ADB Steinberger-licensed bass! It sounds just like a Steinie L series now! great tone, articulation and sustain. nice punch and very responsive to slap style playing. These are miles above the Steinberger double ball end set that originally came with the bass. They are twice as much money but worth every penny. I am staying with these forever!

      Steinberger Must!

Comments about Rotosound RDB66LD Double Ball End Bass Strings:

      Great sustain, tone and brightness!
I use to buy the Steinberger Bass Strings sold here on MF but decided to gamble an extra $14.00 towards a set of these. At first I figured they were equal in performance but after the strings settled on my Bass I could definately tell the difference. The brightness and sustain of these strings blows all others out of the water. Playing a headless bass does limit you to only certain brands but I've always heard the endorsements (Geddy Lee, Roger Waters etc..) but figured these cats were in it for free strings. These are exceptional strings. Try them once and you'll never go back
      A Great Value!
      Worth the extra bucks!

Comments about Rotosound RDB66LD Double Ball End Bass Strings:

      Blown outta my bass area!
I've used Double Balled Strings for years and due to the expense I usually went cheap but due to Gigs pending I dug deep into my pocket this time. These strings are well worth the investment. I've used Steinbergers Version before and been satisfied but these things are so bright and so responsive I will never go back. Worth the investment. Do yourself a favor and get them!
      Remarkable!
A five pack may be the answer!
