Comments about Seymour Duncan SHPR-1b P-Rails - Bridge Pickup:
Put it in the bridge of my telecaster and it absolutely sings. Every position is great, and most of all, completely unique. Humbucking mode is thick and meaty, rail retains that strat sound, and the P90 is fat, yet articulate. Get this pickup. I don't know if I'll ever go back to any other pickup after this.

Comments about Seymour Duncan SHPR-1b P-Rails - Bridge Pickup:
I wired these up with all options available for every combination in a Les Paul, looking for the answer to everything. Nothing does everything and neither do these. They do a pretty good P90 tone, average humbucker tone (kinda loose, lack definition) and the rails are terribly thin and weak. Great idea, just not quite there yet. Hopefully, they can somehow make it work but until then, I'd rather have one good set of pickups than 3 average ones. My experience being an intermediate/advanced player with 20 years experience who has owned over 100 different pickups.
Comments about Seymour Duncan SHPR-1b P-Rails - Bridge Pickup:
I put the set in a Chinese built LP copy and at first wasn't happy with the sound so I changed the wiring setup and now I'm blown away with how these sound. I used 2 push-pulls in the tone positions and regulars in the volumes. Ive always changed pickups in my guitars and I always series-split-parallel them with a mini on-on-on switches cause I want all the sounds I can get out of them. I can get almost any sound I want out of these with all the options I have. The only thing I can't get is a high output sound which is not what they were designed for. Definately glad I picked a set of these up and that I've been a SD fan for years, they fit my sound.
You get a P90, single coil rail and humbucker in one pickup. The people at Seymour Duncan really put their thinking caps on for this one.
As always Seymour Duncan quality through and through.
I would have given more for this pickup. I bought the bridge and neck set. But lets be honest here, pickups just plain cost too much.
Comments about Seymour Duncan SHPR-1b P-Rails - Bridge Pickup:
I put these in place of the Duncan Designed pickup (which were pretty good to start with) with the Duncan P-Rails and the 3 Shot. In my opinion the combination makes the perfect stage guitar. You can get the sounds of the P-90, Single Hot Rail Fender and both Series and Parallel all in one guitar. You can also have 2 different tones out of each pickup. I like the Neck on the Rail and the Bridge on Parallel Humbucker. The more I use this setup the better I like it. I used this on an expensive Samic guitar and am hardly using my Les Paul.
