I use this case for my GalaxyAudio PA6S powered Hot-Spot monitors. I own five, but the case would fit six.
Customization is easy, but time-consuming. The foam comes in 2" layers and is perforated so you can break off 1/2" squares. It takes some SERIOUS time to configure the foam, but do it carefully and you will be glad you did. Carpenters say "measure twice, cut once" and the same applies here. If you are spending this much on a case, take your time and do it right because it is difficult (impossible? maybe glue would work?) to put foam back once you've broken it off.
Overall, the case is rugged and sturdy. The wheels are sufficiently heavy-duty and the clasps are very strong. You would expect the mechanism to release/retract the rolling handle to be a button right on the handle (like it is on most rolling suitcases) but it is a small bar, located just under the handle, that you have to slide to the side. This is slightly frustrating, but workable once you get used to it. There are also lifting handles on the sides.
This case is pretty darn big, but it provides excellent protection for expensive, sensitive and/or fragile gear that doesn't have custom road cases available elsewhere.

The case is a great value. It is large enough for cords/cables. The castors for rolling the case provide convenience and less strain on the back. My husband LOVED this gift!!! I would highly recommend this particular item.
