Truly a heavy duty 3 tier stand that will support and size keyboard. The angle adjustments really help me in seeing the top keyboard while in sitting position. The stand even held my 73 Fender Rhodes along with SK2 and virus on a live gig with no wobble. I have tried dozens of stand and I have the two tier Standtastic also and recommend this stand to any pro player.

Cons: the bag falls apart, isn't large enough to keep tiers in place during transport. I have had to take bag to seamstress 3 times to repair (haven't tried to replace the zipper yet). Address this issue and I would give it five stars

This stand is sturdy and mostly brilliant. It holds my Kurzweil and 2 Nords steady at my shows and after some modification (oulined above), the stand is now reliable and easy to setup and teardown.

Its really adjustable and lightweight. The height adjustments are great, as are the attached holding pins for the keyboard arms. The biggest feature (for me) is the rock solid design that holds my boards rock steady throughout a performance.
Aside from some minor details like the cheap adhesive on the velcro and the rediculous thumb screws on the keyboard arms, the stand is well thought out and has been performing very well for me over the last year.
Great price for a great stand. You will need to replace the cheap velcro with 3M brand velcro to hold the side braces in place when folded up. Also, you will need to add some padding to the keyboard arms (white door seal works and looks great) and replace the thumb screws with regular bolts on the underside of the arms. I also recommend epoxy glue to hold on the rubber end pieces as they fall off easily especially when taking the stand out of the case. $25 or so at Menards should do it.

Best I've ever used

Comments about Standtastic 103KSB 60" Triple-Tier Keyboard Stand with Deluxe Bag:

I've got one 103KSB and am about to order a second. When the thing arrives and you're setting it up, you'll be dubious about how solid this stand will actually be. But, no worries... with my Oasys 88 on the bottom, Kurzweil PC2X in the middle, and Alesis A6 on top - it is rock solid no matter how hard I pound. Combined with the ease breaking-down/setting-up, this stand is all you'll ever want or need. I can't sing high enough praises for what a great piece of gear this is!

2nd One I've Owned

Comments about Standtastic 103KSB 60" Triple-Tier Keyboard Stand with Deluxe Bag:

I have (and I've had) a number of keyboards and stands and this is the best I've ever owned. #1 feature, totally solid what ever position you put it in and unlike other stands (especially 3-tier) you can adjust height and angle to whatever you want and it all folds up into a small gig bag.

Comments about Standtastic 103KSB 60" Triple-Tier Keyboard Stand with Deluxe Bag:

I bought this item after a lot of reserch. To this point I have been using the standard x-scissor type stands for keyboards, but with additional keyboards, stacking seemeed best. I bought this item seeing very misleading picture without measuring—my mistake. It was heavy and cumbersome to set up. The velcro tabs imediately failed and the metal secure rods dropped into our newly resanded and polished floor, repeatedly despite my efforts to keep them up. The amount of room it takes up on the floor is quite substantial. Unless you only work with keyboards or you have a LARGE studio, stear clear of this.

Comments about Standtastic 103KSB 60" Triple-Tier Keyboard Stand with Deluxe Bag:

This is a great stand if you want a steadfast supporting system for up to 3 keyboards. I've been a professional musician for over 40 years, and this is the most solid stand I've ever used. The only thing more solid was my old B-3!!!

But be aware that it takes a lot of time to set up.
Totally adjustable; up, down, angle, width. Fantastic! BUT.... it takes a long time to set up, compared to my other stands. My ultimate takes less than a minute. This takes 8-10 minutes. Teardown is the same. I love this stand, but I find myself using it only when time is not a factor.
Thumb screws are prone to breaking; side support brackets have double face tape to secure when transporting, however, that wore out after 6 months. Otherwise, it's very stable/secure.
This is a good value, based on its' sturdiness and adjustability. However, I'm not sure I'd buy another one because of the time to set-up and tear down.

Despite 2 Little Glitches...This Is THE Best Deal

Comments about Standtastic 103KSB 60" Triple-Tier Keyboard Stand with Deluxe Bag:

For past 10 months, I've gone back to sitting, and bought the 48" version of this stand. I also bought an extra tier, making it a 3-tier stand. I prefer my boards really close together (Roland piano on bottom, Hammond Xk-1 above that, and Juno-D on top). I had to work top-down to get everthing set right because the Juno display screen can only be read from certain angles. Once everything was finally set and angled right...it IS without doubt...the most stury, stable stand you can buy. Set-up/tear-down is a cinch. Only 2 problems: #1 The front-to-rear brace, when not in use, is held in place by velcro patch glued to the uprights. The glue wears out quick. I substituted a cord-lok strap on the brace arm, and it works fine. #2 While the measurement markings on the upright are way cool for gettin the tiers set right, the markings are just printed on a cellophane label, and the friction of the tiers during setup and teardown tears and ruings the markings. They should have stamped the uprights (like a mason's level) so the markings wouldn't come off. Other than this.....you are wasting your money if you buy any other stand. Now I'm buying a 60" for jobs where I stand up.

You will love this stand !!!

By Ron H.

Comments about Standtastic 103KSB 60" Triple-Tier Keyboard Stand with Deluxe Bag:

May God bless the people who designed this stand. I can put every keyboard where I want. I can see all of the displays clearly on all of my synths. The stand sets up fast, and it is very stable. Even the road bag is excellent. Like another reviewer commented, this stand is the most adjustable unit I have ever seen. I opted for the boom arm and this also works out very well. The side rails are marked which takes the guess work out of setting your tier heights correctly. Once you have this set like you want it, you never need to touch these again. You can get to all of your synths easily and see everything on all of them. I also play guitar, and my 5 effect board sits nicely between the stand legs. The tier arms can slide toward you so that your bottom keyboard is right there for those intricate parts where you want a flat, stable setup. Yes, it is a little pricey. But you will be glad after you initially set it up because all of your adjustment and visibility problems will be gone forever! Now, I can get rid of the apex stand (which I hated) and the "tube" stand, also. This unit will squeeze up to a nice, small footprint and remain stable.

Incredible monster of a stand!

Comments about Standtastic 103KSB 60" Triple-Tier Keyboard Stand with Deluxe Bag:

I've used this 3-tier stand for about 5 years now holding two keyboards (one being a PC-88) and the optional rack for music on the top tier. It has worked great for me and I'd recommend it to anyone. It looks big and bulky, but there's nothing that is more flexible to give you exactly what you want from a stand.

Comments about Standtastic 103KSB 60" Triple-Tier Keyboard Stand with Deluxe Bag:

This is the stand we all want - boards are solid as a rock, easy set-up and tear down. Quality is top notch. The only caveat is to be careful not to lose wing nuts and thumb screws. They can fall off if not tightened during breakdown. All things considered, the best stand on the market for any price. The little gig-bag case is cheap and will fall apart within a year or less but it's just a freebie anyway - the rig transports fine without it.

Comments about Standtastic 103KSB 60" Triple-Tier Keyboard Stand with Deluxe Bag:

It's the equivalent of putting your keyboards on a block of granite, except that, unlike granite, this stand is fully adjustable, lightweight, collapseable, and doesn't cost thousands of dollars. CME UF8 and Alesis Micron (on the UF8's deck) on the bottom, A6 Andromeda in the middle, and Korg Radias on the top. NO swaying, rocking, or sagging at all- just four keyboards held solidly in place by this remarkable stand!HIGHLY recommended!

Comments about Standtastic 103KSB 60" Triple-Tier Keyboard Stand with Deluxe Bag:

Loved the sturdiness and the portability
I have been looking for a three-tier stand that wasn't like and erector set to assemble. I have found what I have been looking for!

One piece, easy to set-up and tear-down. Adjustments are made quickly! I love the portability of the stand. I may need to get another three-tier just for storing my keys at home!
Heavy duty. I am expecting years of use from this piece.

Comments about Standtastic 103KSB 60" Triple-Tier Keyboard Stand with Deluxe Bag:

This is a beefy stand, and once it has keyboards on it, very stable. I like how adaptable it is as far as positioning the keyboards. As other reviews have stated it has a large footprint, about 32" x 32" as I recall. This gives it stability tho. There is plenty of room for pedals etc. on the floor underneath it.
When I was putting it together I just noticed several things that could be improved.
I would buy it again should the need arise.

Comments about Standtastic 103KSB 60" Triple-Tier Keyboard Stand with Deluxe Bag:

I have been using this pro keyboard stand afew years now and it does the gig over and over again no issues. There are afew things to keep in mind when buying this stand it will be your last purchase!!!! When you recieve the stand you will spend some time tweeting the pre adjustments to your keyboard liken but once they are set you will never have to bother with them again.I made some small fab changes to fit my comfort zone.I cut 14" from the top on both stand post I didn't need all that extra height plus it made it lighter to transport and also balances equally in the carring bag.I installed heavy duty velgro fastners on support inside braces to keep them stable in place when you need to breakdown stand it works great. Also not to lose the lock wing nuts I installed tie wraps at the end of the screw bolt they can't fall off.I installed velgro fastners on the keyboard extention arms so the bottom of the keyboard doesn't get all scratch up from metal to metal. It is a small amount of work but smart thinking for the long run to protect your investment. The last thing I did was to silicone all rubber feat covering boots so they won't slip off and lose them to never never land.I know that you shouldn't have to do anything especially it is brand new but these small changes secure a longer life and peace of mind of the stand and if it is done professionally as I accomplished it was a clean job. I hope I have been helpful to all. Don't second guess yourself and go for it!!!!!!!!!! you won't be disappointed !!!!!!!!The three keyboards this stand supports is a Yamaha xf6 Yamaha xf7 and finally a a Nord Electro 4D PERFECTLY!!!!!!!

This is my second one, been using the 103KSB 60" for 20+ years. IMHO if no bounce is important to you then this is the best keyboard stand around. It's heavy and long/bulky so transporting it is not my idea of fun, but the outstanding (pun intended) stability and functionality make the labor of toting it around worth the effort.

Comments about Standtastic 103KSB 60" Triple-Tier Keyboard Stand with Deluxe Bag:

I play with two Motif XS boards, and a Roland RD 800 as my bottom and main board. This stand holds them all, nice and stable. Even extending the support arms out, there is no loss of stability.

My only gripes are petty ones, as follows: 1) LM Products does not return phone calls. I need a new bag and want to buy one. They won't give me a price, and I can't find a bag any other place. 2) The velco strips that are stuck on the uprights to hold the cross bars (when folded up) are a complete waste of time. I use a velcro cord wrap that slips onto the cross bar and then velcros to the main upright when the stand is folded up.

Otherwise, I've tried other stands over the years, Ultimate, Gibraltar, K&M, QuikLok and ProLine. Nothing holds a candle to the stability and ease of set up that Standtastic offers. OH YEAH, and the price......totally unbeatable!!
