For past 10 months, I've gone back to sitting, and bought the 48" version of this stand. I also bought an extra tier, making it a 3-tier stand. I prefer my boards really close together (Roland piano on bottom, Hammond Xk-1 above that, and Juno-D on top). I had to work top-down to get everthing set right because the Juno display screen can only be read from certain angles. Once everything was finally set and angled right...it IS without doubt...the most stury, stable stand you can buy. Set-up/tear-down is a cinch. Only 2 problems: #1 The front-to-rear brace, when not in use, is held in place by velcro patch glued to the uprights. The glue wears out quick. I substituted a cord-lok strap on the brace arm, and it works fine. #2 While the measurement markings on the upright are way cool for gettin the tiers set right, the markings are just printed on a cellophane label, and the friction of the tiers during setup and teardown tears and ruings the markings. They should have stamped the uprights (like a mason's level) so the markings wouldn't come off. Other than this.....you are wasting your money if you buy any other stand. Now I'm buying a 60" for jobs where I stand up.

I bought this item after a lot of reserch. To this point I have been using the standard x-scissor type stands for keyboards, but with additional keyboards, stacking seemeed best. I bought this item seeing very misleading picture without measuring—my mistake. It was heavy and cumbersome to set up. The velcro tabs imediately failed and the metal secure rods dropped into our newly resanded and polished floor, repeatedly despite my efforts to keep them up. The amount of room it takes up on the floor is quite substantial. Unless you only work with keyboards or you have a LARGE studio, stear clear of this.

Comments about Standtastic 103KSB 60" Triple-Tier Keyboard Stand with Deluxe Bag:
I replaced an On-Stage two tier stand with this one and I love the look, sturdiness, and the flexability of set up. I won't be using the gig back but I could certainly see it's use. It's also less unwieldy than the On-Stage.
Pros
- Holds three keyboards
- Portable
Cons
- Bulky
- Damage wood floors
- Flimsy
- Heavy
- Takes up space
- Unstable
- Velcro fasteners fail

Comments about Standtastic 103KSB 60" Triple-Tier Keyboard Stand with Deluxe Bag:
Very easy to assemble, sturdy, and versatile.
Aside from offering three layers, this stand lets you adjust the angle of the keyboard, maybe in about a 70 degree range from horizontal, for all three layers. Also allows a pretty decent width range, which is helpful for a lot of smaller keyboards.
Just got it and so far seems pretty good, but some of the other comments here about screw quality etc are probably valid and takes some points off. Not sure how good it would be for gigging, mine is set up in a studio.
There are probably better stands but good value for the price.
Comments about Standtastic 103KSB 60" Triple-Tier Keyboard Stand with Deluxe Bag:
As long as the stand is durable, I am very pleased with the results.
Really like the look of the set up on stage!
I own an Ulitimate stand that I also has been very durable, but I needed a multi-keyboard option (3 Keys) that an ultimate could not provide.
Thank you and look forward to using my stand at all my gigs.
I think I'm going to love it!
Thank you!
Easy to set upSturdyGreat angles to have the keyboards (unlimited)Love it
Just used it once, but seems very durableLooks great on stage, very professionalI like that the pieces can stay together when you put it away avoiding loss of a nut or bolt, etc.
A bargin at the price (Thank you for the savings!)Question- If something happened are parts readily available?Bag is added value bonus
Comments about Standtastic 103KSB 60" Triple-Tier Keyboard Stand with Deluxe Bag:
If you don't mind a slightly deeper footprint, this stand is as sturdy and adjustable as one could want. I much prefer it to the x-frame style stands for balance and ease of adjustment. It's simple and attractive, if slightly industrial.
Adjustable width and very precisely adjustible tier hight/angle. Mine is a stationary setup, but it would travel well as the tier hight remains fixed even when broken down. For pedals and such, I much prefer this scheme to an x-frame.
No issues with reliability or sturdiness whatsoever. This is my second standtastic stand.
It's not inexpensive, but it's not cheap either. It'll last forever in a fixed installation like mine.
Comments about Standtastic 103KSB 60" Triple-Tier Keyboard Stand with Deluxe Bag:
This stand is sturdy and mostly brilliant. It holds my Kurzweil and 2 Nords steady at my shows and after some modification (oulined above), the stand is now reliable and easy to setup and teardown.
Its really adjustable and lightweight. The height adjustments are great, as are the attached holding pins for the keyboard arms. The biggest feature (for me) is the rock solid design that holds my boards rock steady throughout a performance.
Aside from some minor details like the cheap adhesive on the velcro and the rediculous thumb screws on the keyboard arms, the stand is well thought out and has been performing very well for me over the last year.
Great price for a great stand. You will need to replace the cheap velcro with 3M brand velcro to hold the side braces in place when folded up. Also, you will need to add some padding to the keyboard arms (white door seal works and looks great) and replace the thumb screws with regular bolts on the underside of the arms. I also recommend epoxy glue to hold on the rubber end pieces as they fall off easily especially when taking the stand out of the case. $25 or so at Menards should do it.

Loved the sturdiness and the portability
I have been looking for a three-tier stand that wasn't like and erector set to assemble. I have found what I have been looking for!
One piece, easy to set-up and tear-down. Adjustments are made quickly! I love the portability of the stand. I may need to get another three-tier just for storing my keys at home!
Heavy duty. I am expecting years of use from this piece.
Comments about Standtastic 103KSB 60" Triple-Tier Keyboard Stand with Deluxe Bag:
This is a great stand if you want a steadfast supporting system for up to 3 keyboards. I've been a professional musician for over 40 years, and this is the most solid stand I've ever used. The only thing more solid was my old B-3!!!
But be aware that it takes a lot of time to set up.
Totally adjustable; up, down, angle, width. Fantastic! BUT.... it takes a long time to set up, compared to my other stands. My ultimate takes less than a minute. This takes 8-10 minutes. Teardown is the same. I love this stand, but I find myself using it only when time is not a factor.
Thumb screws are prone to breaking; side support brackets have double face tape to secure when transporting, however, that wore out after 6 months. Otherwise, it's very stable/secure.
This is a good value, based on its' sturdiness and adjustability. However, I'm not sure I'd buy another one because of the time to set-up and tear down.
Comments about Standtastic 103KSB 60" Triple-Tier Keyboard Stand with Deluxe Bag:
This stand is everything a keyboard player needs it is solid, fully adjustable and easy for the road My first stand was a (On Stage Stand ks-7903 3 tier)do not get this stand. The STANDTASTIC is the best... PERIOD.
Comments about Standtastic 103KSB 60" Triple-Tier Keyboard Stand with Deluxe Bag:
This is the stand we all want - boards are solid as a rock, easy set-up and tear down. Quality is top notch. The only caveat is to be careful not to lose wing nuts and thumb screws. They can fall off if not tightened during breakdown. All things considered, the best stand on the market for any price. The little gig-bag case is cheap and will fall apart within a year or less but it's just a freebie anyway - the rig transports fine without it.
