Comments about String Swing Clip On Guitar Amp Hanger:
The venues I play bass at are usually small with very limited stage area. I always have two basses, but enough floor space for two instruments is rare for me. I bought two of these clip on String Swings, and hooked them together. Over my top speaker cabinet (under my amp head) they hold both my basses, and take up very little room. There is some shifting, so I may add some industrial velcro to help hold them in place. I also had to take apart the buckle and re-sew the strap to the buckle, using fewer wraps as the thickness of the strap at the buckle was too high...higher than the feet on my amp head. With only one layer wrapped around the buckle, they lay much flatter. These are working great for me.

Can't believe I have not had one of these since I started playing, this is a must have for all guitarists/bassists. It's compact design is great and keeps your ax from crashing into the floor while waiting to play at your gig.

Comments about String Swing Clip On Guitar Amp Hanger:
Mounts on side of amp using amp handle. No instructions included but very easy to figure out. No retaining strap on yoke to hold neck but I use a large "O" ring to stretch across yoke to hold neck. Very good for guitars that will not work on traditional guitar stands ( like " multi neck" ones.

Comments about String Swing Clip On Guitar Amp Hanger:
I love this item. Unfortunately neither one of my amp heads have handles on the top. No problem though...just buy two and hook them together.they do not harm the tolex on either one of my amp heads, and are extremely stable and secure. I play several heavy basses and have zero fear of this item failing in any way.
Comments about String Swing Clip On Guitar Amp Hanger:
This guitar holder works great. When your playing a club with a tight stage, it's great not to have to put a guitar stand up and take up space. It is sturdy and I felt confident hanging guitars on it. I have not tried it when using my ATA flight case for y guitar head. It doesn't seem like that would interfere with how the guitar hangs, but I can't guarantee it. I will also say that if you have a head that is significantly smaller than your cabinet, this may not work very well. However, one of the other models might!
Nice adjustable strap. It works on my Mesa and Marshall heads no problem. Nice coated hook and nice pads so that it won't damage your amp or guitar.
Seems very well built. NIce thick metal bracket and a strong strap.
For the price you can't really beat it.
Comments about String Swing Clip On Guitar Amp Hanger:
This "String Swing Guitar Amp Hanger" provided me the opportunity to Hang my Guitar(s) (I use 2 of these Hangers) one from each side of my Marshall JCM 800 2203 Amp Head Stack. They provide easy access to get to either Guitar, if I have to switch, they are off the ground & they are out of reach from people at the side of the stage when we are between sets.
Adjustable Strap, to fit the distance from any Amps Top Handle to the end of either side of the Amp! The Yoke Swings to always keep the Guitar Level no matter what type of neck? Foam Adhesive pads are provided, to place on the inside of the Bracket to help Protect your Amp. It is Easy to slide under the Amp Handle, then gravity holds it in place until you want to remove it.Small & Light enough to put in your pocket (but you would look ridiculous)
Solid Construction! I Liked the 1st one that I bought 8 months ago so much that I bought a 2nd of these 4months later. Both have held up to monthly Bar Gigs, (so far, so good) These should last for a long time!
Great bang for your buck! Does what it is intended to do, let your Guitar Hang from your Amps Top Handle by its neck!
Comments about String Swing Clip On Guitar Amp Hanger:
The picture shows a couple of rubber washers. Mine did not actually include those. But, I don't feel like I need them.
This item would be even better if the hook were made such that I had the option to hook it over the back lip of my amp head and let my bass hang in front, instead of off the side. It would also be better if the strap used a quick adjust Fastex-style buckle to hold it, so that adjusting the length were quicker and easier to get it nice and tight. Of course, it would only cost about $2 in parts at REI to make that modification myself, but still.
Overall, this thing is nice and a good size to throw in a gig bag pocket for use anywhere. But, it's just getting me by until my BassHanger arrives, so I can use that to hang my bass down the front of my stack, instead of off the side.
I use this on top of my Ampeg V-4 head, stacked on a Bergantino NV610 cabinet. It hangs off the side, to hold my bass. With this stack, my bass ends up being roughly 6 inches or so off the floor.
The quality of the pieces is good. There is nothing obvious to me that could really be improved in the quality.
For the price, this hanger is great!
