The Tama Iron Cobra Power Glide Single Pedal is the result of the continuing evolution of Tama kick pedals. The innovative Cobra Coil pedal spring accelerates the return of the footboard to its original position. The result is unbelievably effortless action that sets the already smooth Iron Cobra apart from all other pedals on the market. The Cobra Coil is a standard feature on all Iron Cobra models.
Power Glide off-set cam pedals are typically chosen by players who want steady, powerful, and speedy action.
The Iron Cobra continues to evolve!

Comments about Tama HP900PSN Iron Cobra Power Glide Single Pedal:
This pedal is reasonably priced and very, very solid. I personally have not used a better pedal (grew up with an old Ludwig Speed King, and have played high end DW and Pearl pedals). It is extremely accurate and powerful, has excellent feedback, and is easy to be quick with. Pretty much everything is easily adjustable and stays in adjustment regardless of how hard you're using it. I played a different version Iron Cobra in my old college band ten years ago which was also great, but this one tops it. Can't imagine needing more than this pedal has to offer. The wooden beater with a Remo Powersonic on a 22x18 bass sounds much bigger than it is. Highly, highly recommend.
Power drive, double chain, adjustability and extremely solid construction make this pedal a true joy to use.
Solid as a rock and truly no negaitves.
Worthy performer among pedals twice its cost - pro quality at amateur pricing (sheez Tama could hire me to write ads for them...). Seriously, though.
