My coiled VOX Electric guitar cable actually causes less hum and sounds just as good to my ear as this VOX Acoustic guitar cable. Compared on all (3) of my amps...57 Valco 12W amp, 59 Fender Vibrolux 15W amp, and 2006 Vintage47 12W amp.

I purchased this cable (13') about two months ago. I have always used good, quality instrument cables, so the improvement in tone was not especially dramatic, but it did occur. Since I run my acoustic through a looper and a voice box, this cable is only part of the signal chain. I first plugged the guitar straight into my mixer to try it out, and the result was very pleasing. The only issue I have is that the cable is very stiff.

Just purchased this cable about a month ago and am quite impressed with the difference it makes with the sound. It provides a natural acoustic sound that beats the old cables used in the past. It comes with a nice little pouch to put the cable in once you're done playing. Overall, it simply changes the dynamics of playing an acoustic guitar in front of a crowd.

Bought this thinking it was a quality name; I needed a right-angle cable for a nice vintage Gibson so it would rest correctly on the stand. It crapped out on the first gig. Have since upgraded to a Mogami cable which was well worth the expense.
