Comments about VTG Neutrik NC3FX XLR (F) Connector:

They sent me NC3FXX connectors instead of the listed NC3FX. I don't mind since the NC3FXX has a better locking system, but beware if this is the exact connector that you're looking for. Overall, both connectors are top-notch Neutrik quality. I'm happy that I got a free upgrade.

Comments about VTG Neutrik NC3FX XLR (F) Connector:

I replaced all my old Musicians Gear XLR cable fittings with these. They even slide over the tweed weave after a little super glue and turning. The cables are now super solid with a super snug fit on the mic. I'm buying more and I'll probably replace all my Rapco cables with these fittings. Forget the Rapco Lifetime Warrenty, I'm putting these on there.
Buy them nOW!!!! Well worth the extra loot. I do live sound and I'm super stoked.

Comments about VTG Neutrik NC3FX XLR (F) Connector:

I've tried several other brands of XLR's but these are the absolute best. They're not hard to make the solder connections or assemble. I especially like the tight grip when the boot is screwed onto the base of the connector. Whether you repair your own cables or buy wire in bulk and make your own, you cannot go wrong with these.

Comments about VTG Neutrik NC3FX XLR (F) Connector:

Don't through away your mic cables. Most likely it just needs a new connector. Buy a tester to check the cable then buy the best XLR connector made, NEUTRIK.
They are the easiest to work with, no little screws to mess with, which don't really hold the tail in place anyway. Just unscrew it, slip it over the cable, solder the pins and screw it back together. I installed a 40 channel board, pulling 48 channels of bulk cable which need XLR ends added to each. The NEUTRIK made it a breeze to install.

Comments about VTG Neutrik NC3FX XLR (F) Connector:

Replaced sloppy fitting connectors on Mic cables. Showed them to my friends, they (like me) had purchased some budget cables. They like me have had been frustrated by mic's that work part time.
Nothing worse than to be in the middle of performing and the mic cuts out. You will need a 25 - 40 watt soldering Iron and a steady hand to make the connections. Great buy at the given price range.

Comments about VTG Neutrik NC3FX XLR (F) Connector:

Purchased a bunch of New Cables on sale and thought it was a good deal, until we tried to use them. They had a very poor fit and connection at the Female / Mic end. Nothing worse than wondering if your mic is working while trying to perform. Comparing the "old" connectors to the 2 or 3 good old ones I had, I noticed some differences in the design leading to a sloppy fit of the new cables. Ordered a batch of the Neutrik connectors and Now those cables are quite good. You can tug on the new cables, jerk the mic around and they never cut out or go dead. You will need a 25 - 40 watt or so soldering Iron and a bit of skill to solder the wires to the lugs. Cut the old connector off so you can use it as a wiring guide for the New one. Good grip on the whole cable when fully assembled, No pull on the solder lugs.
